Prax ... when I want the ravings of a troll, I'll dress as a billygoat and cross a footbridge. Study up on history before you interject your nonsence. Requesting input is one thing. Demands forced upon an established system are another. Sudbury district is a long frigging way from Toronto and they who complain will never make it up north. It's cold and they've no family here.
Just because I got some purple in my name doesn't mean I ain't above tearing you a new A-Hole in the B-Region for being a jerk-wad.
I couldn't give a chewed up beaver tail what the hell you want from who.... you post in a public forum, you can expect you're going to get responses, including ones you may not want.... suck it up princess, because it ain't working on me.
Secondly, I don't have to read up on any damn history to address your comment. You bickered and whined about your grand daughter not being able to say "Merry Christmas" in school..... well boo friggin whooo with a whoopty-doo on you..... you have no more rights over anybody else in dictating, advertising or otherwise, your religious beliefs within government funded organizations or resources such as schools (Seperation of Church and State) ~ If someone is going to complain about "Merry Christmas" that is within their rights, just as you have the right to complain if they wish you something in their own religion.
If you want to wish people a Merry Christmas without worrying about people possibly getting offended, goto Church.
I was referring to your comment of
"Johnny-come-latelies" as if you being here first gives you some special rights over others. They came here and have the same rights as any other citizen in this country and they have every right to voice their concerns, and if they don't match your's, then too bad. That's democracy for you.
I said move to Nova Scotia, because I've read about the reports within central Canada in regards to the villianization of Christmas, trees being removed from malls, etc.... and while the talk is sorta starting here as well, it hasn't hit yet.... it was a light joke about avoiding this problem if you like, but if you can't take a joke, that's not my problem, and perhaps you're communicating in the wrong place if you want to control what others say.
Deal with it.
Arrogant? I suppose that's something you'd, know well.
With the type of people I come across daily, you bet. ;-)
Cheer up.... here's a hug.
