Wisconsin GOP Lawmaker Hiring Retired Cops to Probe 2020 Election

By Jeffrey Rodack | Thursday, 27 May 2021 09:41 AM

A top Wisconsin Republican is hiring three former police officers to investigate parts of the 2020 election.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos says the retired police officers will spend three months on the taxpayer-funded investigation.

Vos maintained he is not trying to change the results of the election and said he recognizes President Joe Biden won Wisconsin.

He said he hopes the investigators can get to the bottom of issues Republicans have raised unsuccessfully in court.

"Is there a whole lot of smoke or is there actual fire? We just don’t know yet," Vos said.

He said he was giving the three investigators a broad mandate to review all tips and check out the most credible ones. He said they may look into claims the state’s largest cities used more than $6 million in grants from a private group to run their elections and allegations of double voting.

An attorney will oversee the investigation and will provide him with a report by the fall.

The investigators will have subpoena power since they are contractors with the legislature, the Journal Sentinel reported.

While not ruling out the possibility the investigators could refer some matters to prosecutors, Vos said he wants to determine what laws should be changed rather than find people the investigators believe have broken the law.

"My hope is that they come back and they build the case to show Gov. (Tony) Evers and the Democrats who are in the 'Casablanca' mode — 'nothing to see here,' 'everything’s fine,' 'they just want to suppress the vote.' No. These are professional investigators," Vos said.

"A sizable chunk of people believe the election was illegitimate. And democracy cannot flourish if both sides don’t believe in the end both sides had a fair shot. "The election's already over," he said. "My job is to be frustrated with the result, which I am, especially with what’s going on in Washington, D.C. … My job is to say where are the laws being followed, where are they not? If they’re not being followed, how can I fix it?"

But Ann Jacobs, a Democrat who leads the Wisconsin Elections Commission, was critical of the investigation.

"I think it's unfortunate that the legislature is using its resources to investigate what has already been thoroughly investigated and it is my hope that instead they could work toward expanding opportunities and ease of voting for Wisconsin voters," she said.

Meanwhile, the results of a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday show that 66% of Republicans believe the 2020 election was "stolen" by Biden and the Democrats.

"The numbers fly in the face of any predictions that Donald Trump's political future is in decline," Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy said. "By a substantial majority, Republicans: (1) believe the election was stolen from him, (2) want Trump to run again, and (3), if they can't vote for Trump, prefer someone who agrees with him."

BREAKING NEWS:

DEVICES HIDDEN INSIDE DOMINION MACHINES ALLOWING THEM INTERNET CONNECTION -

CHAIN OF CUSTODY IS DESTROYED!

One of the most important parts about the election process is the chain of custody. Without that, there is absolutely no integrity in an election.

Even months after the 2020 presidential election, questions still linger about the legitimacy of the vote count. The investigations continue, and the new information coming out of these investigations is troubling.

The voting machines that were used in Michigan, Georgia, and other states are currently part of the investigation. The machines were made by Dominion, a distributor of voting systems.

Upon inspection of the machines, cellular modems were discovered in some of them. The reason that this is so bad is because when these are found to exist within the machines, voting machines are very susceptible to hacking and tampering.

The modems are capable of communicating with a central reporting server where the data can be accessed by one or more outside sources. This is concerning because it jeopardizes the chain of custody.

Many experts believe that the presence of these modems that connect to the internet could pose concerns about a potential vulnerability of the machines.

So how do we know that they weren't tampered with? We don't. That's why, in my opinion, a full forensic audit needs to be conducted to ensure that there wasn't any tampering.

The Democrats will probably try and say that there's no evidence that anything did happen. Well, duh. But there is reasonable suspicion. The evidence comes after the audit of the machine. Until there, there is reasonable suspicion because there is no way mathematically and statistically that Joe Biden would have been able to beat out President Trump given the massive lead that he had in these key states that he supposedly lost.

Wisconsin Nov. 3 Election Will Be Investigated by Retired Officers: Assembly Speaker

Wisconsin state Assembly Speaker Robin Vos says he’s hiring retired police officers to probe aspects of the 2020 presidential election, joining efforts in Republican-led states to look into the contest.

Vos, a Republican, told local news outlets that he will hire three retired officers to work with an Assembly committee that has investigatory powers to review the election. Vos said that there were thousands of complaints made after the Nov. 3 contest in Wisconsin—which was narrowly won by President Joe Biden—that need to be investigated.

“We need to have a fact basis to continue to show the public in Wisconsin that, number one, we continue to take these irregularities seriously, and that at the end of the day, the laws that we proposed are based on facts in addition to anecdotes,” Vos told the Wisconsin State Journal, adding that he believes Biden won the election but pointed to “irregularities” in how it was carried out.

In the interview, Vos singled out how the Center for Tech and Civic Life, which is mostly funded by Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, got involved in several cities. Wisconsin’s five largest cities received some $6.3 million from the group, which also provided funding to about 200 municipalities across the state, the Journal Sentinel reported.

The retired officers and committee will spend three months reviewing all the tips that were received and will focus more time on the most credible ones, Vos told the newspaper.

Days After Officials Find A Voting Error – PA County Votes To Open A Full Investigation

One of his biggest comebacks happened in Pennsylvania. Then-President Donald Trump had a big lead early on, but it disappeared after the mail-in votes were counted.

And ever since then, many Republican leaders and Conservative citizens have questioned the results.

Many believe it just wasn’t possible for such a big lead to evaporate so quickly, and several politicos (including Trump himself) suggested major problems with the mail-in ballot system.

Now, it seems we have another issue with voting machines, and in the same state.

During a primary election in one PA county last week, it was discovered that the machines weren’t correctly counting Republican ballots.

At first, it appeared to be just a counting error — but then officials realized the machines were only discounting ballots that held a vote for the Republican candidate.
