A normal person who uses empirical data and science and commonsense to say what someone is.

In layman's terms, I see a spade as being a spade.

I'm normal.

Now Mrs Serryah may sometimes wake up in the morning and think "Today, I'll be a man", but she isn't a man. She's a woman and a woman only.

Her way of thinking isn't a sign that she's gender fluid - of course, she isn't, nobody is, she's female - but more of a sign she's suffering from a mental disorder.

Obviously.

First, no one is 'normal', but if there is, if you are the definition of it, humanity is screwed.

Second, it's not Mrs. It's just Serryah. No Miss, no Mrs, no nothing. I get they're a gesture of respect and all but I'm not married, and I'm no one's mistress.

Why? For holding a perfectly normal view?

Maybe it's you who needs to see a shrink. I'm normal.
No one said anything about you being abnormal...........but some of your posts suggest an attitude issue and bias. Do you have a background in clinical psychology??

More important .......let's just stick to the topic.

I'm perfectly normal.

For example, I know that you're not gender fluid, because such a thing doesn't exist. So I'm a normal person having normal thoughts that I share with most humans.

It's YOUR views that are abnormal and worrying.

No. But I know when someone's suffering a mental illness, and gender fluidity and transgenderism are mental illnesses and such people need to be treated and cured.
Actually......they are not....... They are not listed as such in the DSM. Now people with those orientations could suffer from conditions like depressive disorders et al...... Just like any other gender orientation.

Now, that makes no sense a all.

What a strange person you must be to think that a woman who think of herself as being a man, or a person who thinks of themselves as being a tree or a shoelace, are perfectly normal "progressive" types but at the same time you feel anyone who questions these beliefs and the sanity of the person holding them "makes no sense."

Technically..........someone's gender orientations is NONE OF YOUR or anyone's business.& being judgmental is bloody poor form.

In your opinion Blackie.

Doesn't make it true, sorry.

In any case, the point was, you think I should go to Iran.

Except the fact that I seriously dislike/despise Iran's current government.

Should I make suggestions about where you should live based on your opinion?

Gender dysphoria - gender "fluid" and transgenderism - is recognised as a mental illness in the UK and is treatable on the NHS.

The cooperative words are "in the UK" and you have no right to play around with diagnosing anyone unless you are a qualified clinician.

In your opinion Blackie.

And the opinion of many doctors.

It also doesn't take more than an ounce of commonsense, too, to see that "identifying" as being something else, whether a man or a bicycle, is NOT sane behaviour.

Transgenderism is a recognised mental illness, you goit, so I've got every right.

There is nothing normal and sane about thinking you are something else.

A ten year old knows that. Yet you don't.

Such silly and unprofessional arrogance.

for the record: I have worked in the field of mental health and unhealth.

Perhaps the UK is still quite behind in the area.

Ok.....out of curiosity........how is this gender orientation TREATED in the UK?? Meds, behavior therapy, cognitive therapy?? or deconditioning......and reconditioning. hipnosis ?? Enlighten me.....
