You don't like people that were captured.
That's a fact.
Really . My next door neighbour spent WW2 in a Gulag thanks to the support the allied command gave him on the Beaches at Dieppe . He was a great guy and an excellent coach . In fact growing up in veterans housing many of the parents in our community were captured or surrendered, I liked and respected most of them . They of course didn’t brag or even speak much of the war or their part in it . The most you could get from their war experience was some of the good times , and even those stories were rare .
