UN calls Donald Trump's comments 'racist'

Donald Trump's reported remark branding Haiti, El Salvador and unspecified African nations as "s***hole countries" has been branded racist by a UN human rights official.

"If confirmed these are shocking and shameful comments from the President of the United States," spokesperson Rupert Coleville said.

"There is no other word you can use but 'racist'."

"You cannot dismiss entire countries and continents as 's***holes', whose entire populations who are not white, are therefore not welcome."

The US President made the comment during a meeting with congressional leaders in the Oval Office on Thursday, according to US media.

“Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?” Mr Trump said after being presented with a proposal to restore protections for immigrants from the countries in question.

But apparently you can create those shjtholes by repeated bombings and lootings without the UN raising an eyebrow. Many of them white countries.

Senator David Purdue claimed in an interview with ABC’s This Week on Sunday that the president did not use the word “shithole,” despite the White House not having denied Trump made the comment.
“I’m telling you he did not use that word, George. And I’m telling you it’s a gross misrepresentation. How many times do you want me to say that?” Purdue told ABC host George Stephanopoulos of the White House meeting in which he reportedly used the phrase.

To wit, the sundry Dem caucuses want more immigrants, and the browner the better, because it's their only route to electoral dominance. By contrast, the hard core GOP immigrant-thumpers are desperately attempting to hang-on to Red State rule in the face of the forbidding demographic math of the white population---and the fact that not many Norwegians want to come to America anyway.
It would not be too far-fetched to say that the partisan battle for office is morphing into a racial-ethnic war.
