America has no role to play anywhere outside of North America. In fact, the polity called the USA has already outlived it's usefulness. And the EU is even weaker. NATO is incapable of effective action because it hasn't really had a believable mission since the fall of the Soviet Union.
Obama doesn't have the stones to take effective action abroad. He's a putative social democrat totally focused on domestic affairs. There's a storm coming to America. And Obama knows it. That's what he is preparing for.
The EU is basically Germany and its French sidekick. They don't have the power to topple a govt. in Ukraine imo. The best days of the EU are behind it.
I think Russia overplayed its hand in Ukraine for now. The dance goes on.
Make no mistake that Russia is poised to start a war . The Russian Prime Minister used the magic words as in protect Russian sovereignty and people.
MHz is like many others who have no clue what is actually happening and even when real proof and the truth is put in front of them they still call "lies , can't be true because I am smarter than everyone else"

You seem to make a joke and think death of others there is fine which I find revolting but here in a free country you are entitled to your opinion misguided as it is. So I ask you to think about the families and why people are doing this in Ukraine , That is the Ukraine we are talking about not some other country. If you had any sense you can see that this is about freedom and as you wrote earlier "Our Friends" there are on Maidan and they do want freedom which seems to get lost to you in all the tall tales you put out there.

I have and my wife lived in Ukraine for 52 years so if you have a better understanding of what is happening I would like to know if you actually have lived there or are just talking to sound important .

You ever going to post those those replies? I assume all your friends and relatives are cronies of the West so why should I expect something 'fair and balanced' from you. It isn't like you don't have an agenda as you just cheered on the violent overthrow of a democratically elected Government.

Also just so you understand the elections were not fair and were not balanced just like the ones in Russia so be a man and admit you are wrong instead of making a fool of yourself further for everyone to see.
