It's something you need to know when reading Congressional sources. A "report of the Congress" or Senate is vetted and approved by the whole body. A report from a committee is vetted and approved by that committee, which means representatives or senators from both parties. Always look for whether there's a "minority report." That means the report was railroaded through by the majority party over the objections of the minority party. You can only get the full story by reading the report and the minority report.
The "report" of a single member, chairman or otherwise, is pure political crap. It is the opinion of that member.

Most of the people coming to Canada in the first round as I understand
it are Armenians and Kurds. Now there may be some who are Muslim
true but they are not to be feared.
Think about this terrorists coming here to do harm have Visas and
passports and they can be here in less than a day Why would they
spend nearly two years in a refugee camp?
Besides many are leaving to escape the violence not create more of it.
America is a nation paralyzed by fear instead of reaching out like they
did in past decades
