Turns out pipelines don't do much for the economy

Some stiff competition in April. but Prime Minister Justin Trudeau squeaked a win after the National Observer revealed the Kinder Morgan approval process was, surprise, rigged for approval.

How about we just payback China and California with trees instead in lieu if oil they already bought?

Or should we just build a pipeline across the Bering Strait?

I'm sure the Beringians (Injuns) in Asia and Alyaski tribes in the US would be grateful to be paid $75KCAD a year to babysit a stretch of pipline that their Dene and brothers and sister are relying on to rebuild after Cree enslavement and forced education by the European, Asian, S.Asian, African and Arab Canadians.

Let all the Tribes from around the world that now identify as Canadians come together in a circle, smudge away our sins with sweet grass, enter the sweat and let the Spirits of the ancient microscopic buffalo of the seas that gave us the air we breath and the energy we need to become a single solitary global tribe guide us through this process

Rigged?

Just because Harper fired every scientist who would possibly stand in the way of the approval and half of the remaining scientists quit over the results?

That isn't rigged.

Call it right sized.

A new study by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) shows the sustainable way forward for Canada’s energy industry. Rather than building more oil and gas pipelines to carry Alberta’s high-cost and highly polluting oil sands to world markets, Canada should be building long-distance transmission lines to carry zero-carbon electricity to U.S. markets. In that way, Canada would honour its commitment to the Paris climate agreement and avoid losing billions of dollars on foolish, dead-end projects in the meantime.

Ah yes, the good ol' UN. Since Trudeau is such a big fan of the UN you can be sure that it's the last organization anyone should be listening to It is such a corrupt institution, we'd be foolish to have anything to do with them. They do not have Canada's best interests in mind, only their own, much like Trudeau.

Oh there's a genius idea. Ontario is already losing billions every year trying to sell green electricity to the US at far lower costs than we pay to generate it. The US doesn't need our high cost electricity. They'd rather get it cheap from coal or oil.

7 arrested as faith leaders protest Trans Mountain pipeline expansion in Burnaby

It would be interesting to get all the cost estimates of the protest to this project.

Because that is real tax money being spent to arrest and process all these people. I believe 150 plus now?

It will be 150 a day when they get the ball rolling.

They could use our own military but they are in other places of the world trying to keep the oil flowing there.

Frankly, Kinder Morgan is right.

This industry is seriously underperforming.
