Safe bet obomba wishes he never backed rebels to satisfy his lust to butcher assad, it has morphed into a nightmare for him. He arms kurds turkey hunts them, turkey his trusted nato partner has sided with russia, dreaded iran is working with russia and his saudi pals are out of control in yemen prompting them to seek warmer relations with russia. Never mind other u.s. 'liberated' sites like afghanistan, iraq and libya are still smouldering whilst they try to patch things up with somalia, all an all humanitarian blunders of massive porportion but their military complex and john kerry are busy..

You just about summed up the meat grinder that is Syria. One major mistake... the disaster in Libya belongs to Canada.

MHz is a Soviet

He is completely befuddled. He rips the Turks when they school the Russians on air to air combat, then praises the Turks with this new Russian-Turkish Joint Defense Plan.

Now he doesn't know what to say now the Turks have invaded Syria and Assad is beside himself with rage.

Into Syria they go!

The rcmp uniform again cast in a less than glorious light this time by a jokester.

As if canuckstan has ME military might to pull off a seige and execute a nations honcho, barac blames his nato partners lead by blowhard sarkozy for not doing a neat surgical job in libya. The u.s. of course played no part in this clumsy execution so we're left to wonder about hillarys' glee watching gadaffis' blood spill, she must really like the french butcher.... now syria adds to nato woes, nato and the vacuum(s) they create be the biggest threat the world faces.

I don't see Syria getting on their knees for splashing a few Turkish fighter aircraft, one using something akin to a big machine gun.

It appears Russian bombers might be back at Iran's base sooner rather than later as ISIS members regroup in some city they happen to be in danger of losing. One that would spell the end of them.

'Come to Syria', said the spider to the fly.

He should get directions to a treadmill.

I guess those Syrian bases are becoming a bit unsafe for the Russians. The Russians having their helicopter and supply bases overrun is one thing but if the FSA or ISIS got in among those expensive bombers... YIKES!

Yes indeed... come to the grinder. Assad needs yet one more combatant laying tank treads all over what was once his country. lol

But Syriously... was this part of that great Russia-Turkish Plan you were so excited about?

Most if not all honchos would be suspect of help offered from a turncoat putin included but for him erdogan is a useful pawn.... what is the real motive here?? That assad is not enamoured with turks inviting themselves u.s. style onto his turf is easy to grasp. Erdogan a trusted nato partner can be trusted about as far as anybody can throw an isis oil tanker, not only is the nato family in disarray the u.s. threatens to abandon their kurdish allies. Kerry is so busy with washingtons' war games in eastern europe biden had to be pressed into service to try and pacify turkey at the expense of baracs' kurdish 'freinds'.
Is baracs' determination to slay assad worth turkey abandoning nato and u.s. abandoning their kurdish buddies, must be a task for putin to keep a straight face as he speculates will barac reach for more weapons or more band-aides next?

Kerry, Lavrov: 'Close' on Syrian Peace Agreement

Critically, Lavrov stressed the need of the opposition side in Syria to distance itself from terrorist organizations. "Without separating the sane forces in Syria from terrorists, I just do not see a solution for ending hostilities in this country," Lavrov said. On the role of Kurdish forces in the conflict, Kerry said that the US intends to continue working with them, but does not support the creation of an independent Kurdish state. Lavrov added that both Moscow and Washington agree that the Kurds must have an equal voice in the peace process. Both sides will continue to negotiate terms over the next few days.
