POTUS has as much right to privacy as any other citizen.
No, he's the President of the United States with a unique opportunity for monstrous levels of corruption and I'm just a common, garden variety salary man.
Actually, he doesn’t
Statute of limitations hasn't run yet.So why not just ask about his tax returns since he was in public office specifically since he was POTUS, that's all that should be relevant to the public

The idea behind the convention of presidential candidates showing their taxes is that it establishes a base line of at least this person is not a tax cheat and here are the records of how they make their money.
If anything Trump illustrates what a good idea this convention is and why it should be codified.
Which right-wing website planted that in your head? The same one that said soliciting a bribe isn't a crime if you don't get the bribe? All tax returns turned in have been from candidates that have held public office, as we know Trump never held a public office before running and winning POTUS, so it is Apples to Oranges in the tradition of turning over tax returns. Dems. want it to use to hurt him in his re-election bid, now I would be all for his last 2 returns turned over due to him being in the public office now.

Hey you sure jumped on the new talking point in a hurry , weren’t you spouting off about quid pro quo last week ? You must have gotten the memo , polling shows bribery is a more understandable and forceful phrase then quid pro quo .Which right-wing website planted that in your head? The same one that said soliciting a bribe isn't a crime if you don't get the bribe?

The Supreme Court has granted them a short reprieve after Trump's legal team panicked at the prospect of having his tax returns made public, two days from now. I suppose that he gains a week or two.Chief Justice Roberts Blocks Order Forcing Trump to Surrender Taxes
