Dr. Ben Carson.. will be nominated as Secretary for Housing and Urban Development. He is a renouned pediatric neurosurgeon and a soft spoken and uncoventional thinker. Certainly the state of America's inner cities needs some fresh thought. I can't find many people who don't speak highly of him.

He's probably brilliant whenever he is not asked to think outside his field. Whenever he starts doing that he wanders off into some fantasy land.

Trump met with Al Gore yesterday.

Good grief, I hope he isn't being considered for a cabinet post, the guy is a nut case.. certifiable. But he's meeting with Rex Tillerson today, CEO of Exxon, and some say a candidate for Secretary of State (but i doubt it).

So it seems to me a lot of these meetings seem to be some form of window dressing for 'openness' to competing agendas in his administration.. about which i'm quite sure Trump has very specific preferences.

The Hill:
Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt, a longtime foe of the Obama administration's environmental regulations, is President-elect Donald Trump's pick to run the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), according to reports. [...]

He has sued Obama to challenge nearly all of his major environmental regulations, such as the landmark climate rule for power plants, as well as water rules and standards for ground-level ozone pollution, haze, methane and more.

If confirmed by the Senate, Pruitt would oversee what is likely to be a major deregulation effort at the EPA.

A certain theme is becoming evident. Strong business orientation His choices and methods are becoming more obvious. Makes sure the people he surrounds himself with are not critical of him. A group of "yes men/women" ?? Either way it is different from the usual. Not saying it ;is good , or bad.but It is interesting. His unpredictable and impetuaous conduct continues. So perhaps the uncertainty will be the new c constant. Not sure how effective that kind of leadership will be. It is concerning that he has such a vengeful streak..and cannot handle any form of criticism. It seems that he is going to stay with the model he knows...the business model... and doing politics that way might not work all that effectively.A military flavor is there ..in his choices. If one wishes t know what Trump relay thinks.just follow Twitter. He is not goin goto lose his borish tactic s. Money cannot buy sophistication and true intellect.

Given that he will have little opposition , or construction to his ideas and plans.. he will likely get to do what he wants He certainly has an a authoritarian bent to his methods. Perhaps thisi s what his followers wanted. Someone who rules with an iron fist .as opposed to governs within democratic principles. This would be just fine..if it did not affect the rest of the planet. Perhaps his isolationist approach will be a positive for the planet. and remove the US tgentacles from meddling in so many places. Nations will be more independent from the US "influence". Unless of course Trump decides to rule the planet.... starting with changing the US into his own image and then fo from there. Then it will be every county for itself.. in a form of survival of the fittest..

It's interesting that he keeps nominating generals, when he said that he knows more than they do. Oh, wait, that's his reason for nominating them.

Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruett, 48, will take of the Evironmental Protection Agency, of which he has been a vocal critic, especially the burdensome environmental regulation on small business.

He's an AGW sceptic.. which in the face of the propaganda blizzard of disinformation, distortion, pseudo science, fear mongering, lies and selective 'evidence'.. that fuels th subject, indicates he's someone with an independent reason and not easily duped.

So Trump's meeting with Al Gore and Leonardo di Caprio seemed largely for show. Hopefully he will remove the U.S. from the economically corrosive Paris Climate Accord and its deeply held agenda of massive population reduction, the ultimate aim of the radical environmental cult.

Linda McMahon, 68, wife of Vince McMahon the founder of World Wrestling Entertainment, will take over the Small Business Portfolio. She's run in two recent Senate campaigns for the Republicans with moderate platforms. The McMahons are billionaires who given to conservative causes, and educational institutions, including Sacred Heart University.

General John Kelly, 66, another 4 Star Marine General will take over Homeland Security. He's very strong of border security. He's had several top billets including head of Sourthern Command. His son Robert Michael Kellly was killled in Aghanistan in 2010. Uh.. that makes him a Gold Star Father, just like Khizr Khan.

It seems that many of Trump's nominees have consistent views with Trump on the environment (especially AGW), small business regulation, strong borders and economic nationalism. Which indicates he is not 'moderating' his core principals.. just some of the affectations of the campaign.

Which is exactly what anyone who took the time to listen fully expected him to do .

Mr. Flynn is the first transition team member to get the boot for trolling. He is the son and close aide of Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Mr. Trump’s pick for national security adviser, who shares his love for social media conspiracy theories. General Flynn’s son was one of thousands of online trolls “investigating” #Pizzagate, a wild chain of false claims imagining that Comet Ping Pong, a Washington pizzeria, is a front for a child abuse and trafficking ring led by Hillary Clinton and John Podesta, her former campaign manager.

On Sunday, Pizzagate took a more serious turn when a gunman turned up at Comet with an assault-style rifle to “self-investigate” the phony claims. The suspect, Edgar Welch of Salisbury, N.C., spent 45 minutes inside the restaurant, firing at least one shot in an effort to find imprisoned children.

After the gunfire inside Comet, Mr. Flynn continued to spread the Pizzagate claims on Twitter, saying “Until #Pizzagate proven to be false, it’ll remain a story.” When Jake Tapper, a CNN reporter, called him out on his behavior, Mr. Flynn attacked him on Twitter, tweeting that Mr. Tapper was “trolling the family of a highly decorated retired military officer.”

Vice President-elect Mike Pence, who leads the transition team, at first denied that the younger Mr. Flynn had a transition job, even though he had a government email account and displayed the transition website on his Twitter bio. It later emerged that the Trump team had applied for a security clearance for Mr. Flynn so the 33-year-old could handle official secrets.

Both Flynns, like their boss Mr. Trump, have led a rich life on Twitter in recent months. Father and son have spread phony conspiracy theories linking Mrs. Clinton to child trafficking and Mr. Podesta to satanic rituals. “MUST READ!” General Flynn wrote on Nov. 2, linking to fake stories about Mrs. Clinton.

General Flynn has never disavowed those claims. His son’s social media accounts have gone silent. On Tuesday the transition website disappeared from his Twitter bio and his .gov email appeared to be deactivated.

Defense and intelligence officials, including some Republicans, say General Flynn’s conspiratorial bent was one reason he was forced out as chief of the Defense Intelligence Agency, where some of his colleagues dubbed his wild theories “Flynn facts.” Even on a campaign known for strange behavior, General Flynn distinguished himself, leveling weird accusations against Mrs. Clinton, and leading chants of “lock her up” during his ranting speech at the Republican National Convention in July.
