No it wasn't. But at least you didn't post a meme.

Now back to our regular, hate filled OBfest, still in progress.

Oh no! I gave Smurphy a red and now his is throwing a hissy fit and redding all my posts from two days ago. We haven't seen this kind of infantile behaviour in a while. Go Smurphy go. Show everybody what an ass you can be.

Shhhh, Cliffy. You were told not to get upset. You are taking heart medication. Calm yourself and think of going to a sweatlodge.

Cliffy, the only licking you could give is to a lollipop. I'm going to say this again. Don't get excited. You don't want your heart to burst.

Sit in front of the radio with a cup of hot chocolate, and listen to CBC. Relax.

Don't cry. Things will get better for you.

I'm just worried about you having an aneurysm. The chances of it happening increases with age. So relax, have something warm to drink - but nothing with sugar in it - and relax.

Remember, it's very easy to overtax yourself. Don't think about me constantly being inside your head. Think nice thoughts. Pretty flowers. Happy songs. Lutes. Pan flutes. Horses patoots! See, that rhymed!

Sleep. Dream.

Mental illness is a problem yet this place thinks it's a joke.
Wanna bet they are trump supporters??

They have NO CLUE.......and make it obvious . Mental illness is a serious issue. this last shooting is a blatant example of what can happen when a patient falls through the cracks......either from the mental health system.....or the law enforcement system. Many of the very serious patients have contact with both.

America has a problem accepting that mental illness is an illness......that needs to be dealt with ...not shunned or be embarrassed by. Many go into denial......and refuse to face the situation. To consider it a joke....speaks to lack of education.. and being properly informed.

That's cuz most on here are mentally ill, as Smurphy is demonstrating.

Most people have quirks for sure! I don't know whether a quirk quite qualifies (how's that for alliteration?) as a mental illness or not. Mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of and shouldn't be looked at as a sign of weakness. In short we are all a little crazy! :)

Absolutely. It was my job when I worked with Mental Health to convince everybody they were nuts so as to get rid of the stigma around mental health issues. I published a news letter for 4 years and every issue I wrote an editorial showing why everybody is nuts. I also helped set up a mental health club house in Nakusp. I'm a bit of an expert on crazy. :)

‘He’s a quitter’: Maher’s Real Time panel predicts Trump won’t make it to 2020

https://www.rawstory.com/2018/02/hes-quitter-mahers-real-time-panel-predicts-trump-wont-make-2020/

IMHO......He might not last the duration because of the results of the investigation........and /or because the job itself is not to his liking. the latter is obvious . The job requires a different personality type. Someone a lot more conscientious.......who pays attention to details and nuances. He LOVES the perks. the status, the power , the trappings..............but not the job itself. He is too easily threatened by criticism........etc. and over reacts via viscous Twitter rages. (NOT PROFESSIONAL ) Very low frustration tolerance. A serious liability in a leader.

Hillary had him pegged. He does not have the disposition for the job. She hit him where it hurt and he is still trying to extract revenge ...

It is sad that the Americans allowed their "hatred" of Hillary to over rule their judgement as she was by far the better candidate. (not perfect)

Yet he might make it all the way to 2024 . I hope you are mentally fit enough if that proves to be the case . It would be sad if Trump’s re-election drove you off the deep end .

He might. Is that what you would like to see?? what is more important is the mental health of AMERICA...

The Trump erratic behavior is causing concern and uncertainty on the planet. Uncertainty like that does not foster stability

I think Trump is pretty old and 8 years as president - even his kind of president - is very taxing.

He looks worse than first term Reagan and Reagan spend the 2nd term under care.

In Reagan's absence his team ran the show according to a pretty concrete set of beliefs. Who the **** is Trump's team? I shudder to think. I know their are no core beliefs.

I can see you are not feeling very stable right now . And yes I would rather see Trump over any of the present offerings from the Democrats .America dodged a bullet with the defeat of Hillary Clinton and Canada walked right into one with the defeat of Harper . But continue bashing Trump all the while Trudeau is spending your grandchildren’s future labour .

Goo d point. Trump looks like hell.... Note the changes since his campaign?? The age itself is just a number.....IF one is physically and mentally healthy and able to handle a LOT of stress. Many at his age can. Don't think he is one of them. Add to the stresses of the job......the fact that his philandering is being revealed (even after paying big bucks for secrecy) creating a tension in his relationship with his wife. Due to his paranoia he eats Big Macs and shakes.,,as a steady diet. That says a lot right there.

How exactly did the US dodge the bullet by not electing Hilary?? Specifics please.& thanks (no one said she is perfect......but at least she is qualified. for the job)

The very most important thing that the Trump campaign (or was it the Russians) established in the 2016 election was the false equivalency that Hillary was just as bad as Trump.

If that falsehood had not been established via Facebook Trump would never have won.

IT is what deflated the support for Hillary - which is exactly what the Russians were all about.

The last thing Putin needed was Hillary Clinton in the White House making things tough for him. Now he has Trump in the White House providing his daily comic relief.

indeed. It isn't that Putin WANTED Trump all that much...........it was because he did NOT want Hillary.

and the influence WORKED. The Russians got what they wanted. those that voted fro Trump bought into what Russia was telling them. ( that was what was FAKE NEWS /FAKE info.) They never examined the info or consider who was better QUALIFIED. Coomey's actions right before the election was the icing on the cake...stacking the deck against Hillary.

The whole situation was quite HISTORY MAKING
