The important point that many people seem to be missing is Trump just thrives on all the news coverage he's getting, especially since the news people aren't the least bit sure of what the truth is. Can't they see that Trump is 'playing' them?
That alone is NOT presidential. There is no professional basis for a POTUS to be playing anyone. Of course Trump is fascinated and enamoured by his own self on the media. He makes sure he makes the news cycle at least several times. He is an extreme narcissist ........and the media is his mirror. Trump is a Tabloid POTUS.......

Poll: Americans give Trump negative marks for Helsinki performance

A Washington Post-ABC News poll finds Americans give President Trump negative marks for his conduct during a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin last week and for his casting of doubt on U.S. intelligence conclusions that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election.

But public reaction nationally appears more muted than in Washington, where Trump faced withering, bipartisan criticism for appearing to take Putins side over U.S. intelligence agencies at a Monday press conference in Helsinki. Most Americans do not feel Trump went too far in supporting Putin.

Accidentally released documents show Trump administration dismissed benefits of protected public land in favor of logging, drilling

In a quest to shrink national monuments, senior Interior Department officials dismissed evidence that these public lands boosted tourism and spurred archaeological discoveries, according to documents the department released last week and retracted a day later.

The thousands of pages of email correspondence chart how Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke and his aides instead tailored their survey of protected sites to emphasize the value of logging, ranching and energy development that would be unlocked if they were not designated as national monuments.

Comments the departments Freedom of Information Act officers made in the documents show that they sought to keep some of the references out of public view because they were revealing [the] strategy behind the review.
