I refer to the LIE-beral claim that Trump cares nothing for civil rights!! The fact is that Trump thinks on a much larger stage than petty, small minded LIE-berals!
WE have only to consider events in Hong Kong to recognize this!!
At the time that the leased territory of Hong Kong was returned to Beijing control- the Chinese leaders were in a conciliatory mood and did not wish to take away the many assorted western style civil rights the city state enjoyed for fear of stirring up international trouble!!!!
But it CLEARLY IRKS the Beijing Butchers that Hong Kong has rights that other Chinese do not have and so Beijing has been trying to erode those rights! That effort has culminated in the latest protests and riots in Hong Kong!!!!!
The timing of these protests is no coincidence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Beijing Butchers are under huge pressure - from both domestic and foreign sources!!
Beijing badly wants to repress various minorities in their country such as Uighurs, Muslims, Tibetans and the people living in “special economic zones” such as Hong Kong and Singapore!!
In addition Beijing is driving hard to take a DOMINANT SPOT on the world economic stage!! The social and economic consequences of the disastrous “one child policy” are coming home to roost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most Chinese prefer boy children- and millions of female fetuses were aborted- with many Chinese men now unable to find mates- producing severe social diss- satisfaction!!! Wealthy and educated young Chinese men are now considering immigration - taking their skills and abilities to the outside world to some other country with a large ethnic Chinese population- with women interested in a wealthy hubby -no matter that he is a Soviet Socialist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
China is seriously afraid of a “brain drain” that will hamper its economy even as it is stressed most heavily by the AGING of that population!! Both China and Japan are dealing with the harsh consequences of ultra low birth rates and after many decades there is virtually NO younger generation to tend to the elderly!!!! In addition- the Chinese themselves refer to their kids as “The Little Emperors!!!!
These “Emperor” children were rare and pampered elites but they are now expected to do the heavy lifting for an aging society- work they are not mentally prepared to perform!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So to head off social unrest the Beijing Butchers seek out UNFAIR trade deals where ever they may be found!! Deals like building a huge hydro electric dam on the side of an ACTIVE VOLCANO in Ecuador!! Deals like DUMPING all sorts of products around the world in any market that is not guarding itself most carefully!!!!!!!!!!!
It is this dumping of products and currency manipulation that people like Trump DEPLORE as it impacts local economies so dramatically!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And yes- Trump has recently been conciliatory with the Beijing Butchers - and he is not wrong to be so -after all - being TOTALLY HARD LINE might drive panicked Beijing Butchers to some SAVAGE SOLUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
