I'm confused about one thing- How can a person be guilty of aiding and abetting pedophilia when they don't know that it's been committed? (And if you aren't willing to swear an oath in court, you simply do not know!)

What happened here is you felt bad for Roy Moore because he's been accused of being a pedophile, so in order to express that you tried to give it legitimacy by using the rhetoric of civil rights and the law. Unfortunately, people calling him a pedophile has nothing to do with civil rights or the law. That was pointed out to you and now to save face you continue to insist on the same language but with a new definition.

Even more unfortunate for you is that you admit that you yourself would judge Roy Moore based on the accusations against him and not have him around your grandkids. You also say that despite that you wouldn't tell other people about this, leaving other children vulnerable to a predator. I suspect you only said that to save your crumbling argument. You're better off actually admitting you're wrong than backtracking and looking silly for it.

Judging from previous posts, I'd say your definition of "for sure" is 100% certainty and that a 99.999% certainty isn't enough. Is that right? I've noticed you tend to make a big deal out of that epic rhetorical cop out.

You pass the information on to those who are employed to investigate such claims and let them delve into it, further. To fail to stop a paedophile will result in multiple and permanently ruined lives.

It's not complicated Cord...............if you were there and saw it happen it's a certainty, if you weren't then it's not a certainly it's a supposition and that might not fly in court! In court there is that slight margin between certainty and reasonable doubt. But of course that might present a risk upon appeal! :)

I may or may not vote for him for a number of reasons. The only point is I wouldn't call him a sex offender or a pedophile because I simply don't know. People seem to have a hard time understanding that.

Not too f**king bright are you? I don't deny Moore is guilty of some heinous crimes at some point. But until you have proof and know for sure you can't go saying he's a sex offender and definitely not that he's a pedophile (which he likely isn't)! I was under the impression that Bones was a lawyer, but he'd sure make a piss poor defense lawyer.............doubt if Moore would be hiring him. :) :) :) :) :)

I fully agree on behalf of underage children! OR if I've seen something with my own eyes that bears checking into.
