According to petros she said 'federal crime', so you can go back to your angry cave now.
(too easy)

regardless.

They is no way to justify torture under Canadian law. It is illegal without regard to whom is being tortured or why.

Trudeau was not Prime Minister during the Kadr Affair.

Cretien/Martin/Harper were. These three are responsible for his confinement and torture and should answer for it to the law.

No, I'd say Daddy Khadr was responsible. It was him who took his family out of the safety of Canada and inducted them into a world of terror. The snowflakes of the world want to make us responsible for shitty parenting when it suits their needs, but become decidedly quiet when we end up with the horrors of a residential school.

The government has no place in parenting children. Mr. Khadr's parents did. Just because they sucked at their job, doesn't make us culpable in his becoming an Al Qaeda bomb maker.

We aren't responsible for his parenting. We are responsible for denying him his rights under the Constitution. I know it's difficult but do try and keep up.

And according to you, she said he was charged. You're right, this is too easy. You can't even remember your own bullshit that you post.

Here, let me help you remember your stupidity.
Yea, she's wrong.

Trudeau wasn't charged with any crime.
Again, she never said he was. But that's okay, we all understand what a difficult time you and your ideological ilk have with reality.

It's the optics of what the average Joe wants to believe rather than the truth.

The woman that made the comment believes what she believes and it appears that as JT attends more of these town halls, there is more and more angst being directed at Trudeau.

Twin Moose,

Yes. I'm sure the RCMP will screen the next gathering so Trudeau will get asked the tough questions like, "What do you and Sophie have for dinner?"

Reminds me of the interviewer that queried JT on what conditioning shampoo he used... If I recall, he had a tough time providing an answer

What's making me laugh is the Trudumpsters actually think it's great that he's doing another dodge and weave tour and that it shows what a stand up guy he is. The shiny one is being shredded in these town halls and more polish is coming off the turd.

His presentation is formulaic, that's for sure. The routine is getting boring and predictable.

Trudeau was asked in Nova Scotia about Omar Khadr, to which feigned indigence about having to pay the terrorist as well, and went on to talk about human rights and lessons learned.

Unfortunately, there was no follow-up question, because if there was it should have been. "Mr. Prime Minister, if you are as angry as other Canadians, why did you try and keep the payoff secret."

He actually said something like "While I am 'serene" about the settlement, but am as frustrated as you are...."

Huh, who knew being "serene" was analogous to being "frustrated". He is such an idiot and completely disingenuous. I really wish he'd stop saying that he's speaking for all Canadians because he sure the hell doesn't speak for me!

Wow an actual engagement in discussion, without a "Trumpite" or "Hugs" comment. I'd come back with a counter to your comment, but I see that you didn't quite make it without being an asshole. So, let's just chalk this one up as a little step in your actually bringing something to the discussion.

Keep on that therapy.

If Mr. Trudeau thought that this was a bitter pill to swallow, but the right thing to do, why did they try and keep the payoff secret?
