Justin Trudeau June 18, 2015:
Today, I’m here to announce what real change looks like.
I'm here to talk about our comprehensive plan to modernize government. It starts with openness and transparency.....

OK so he's a typical politician - say anything to get elected, then abandon your promises. BUT - (party ideology aside) who else do you see in the running, that you'd want for PM?

The fact that Trudeau showed up somewhere and said something was a change right there.

Harper spent 10 years in hiding.

When you word it like that...I'd vote for Elizabeth May before I'd vote for Trudeau. I'd vote for Jagmeet Singh before I'd vote for Justin Trudeau. I'd like to vote for Michelle Rempel but she's not running, and I'd vote for Joe Lo Truglio even if he'd run 'not' for the Liberal Party.

I'm here to talk about our comprehensive plan to modernize government. It starts with openness and transparency. We’ll make transparency a fundamental principle of our government. We’ll strengthen the role of MPs, introduce more free votes and reform Question Period to make it more relevant. The Prime Minister should be regularly answering questions from all MPs, not just party leaders. You know, it’s called the House of Commons. Not because what happens there is commonplace. It’s anything but. It’s remarkable. The word “commons” reminds us that it’s a place that belongs to everyone equally. Where each of us has a voice. Where opinions and ideas are expressed and debated because they matter. As part of a national engagement process, we will ensure that electoral reform measures – such as ranked ballots, proportional representation, mandatory voting, and online voting – are fully and fairly studied and considered. And within 18 months of forming government, we will bring forward legislation to enact electoral reform. My friends, let’s continue the work we’ve started.

He was off flying around the country on his taxpayer funded airplane ducking questions for 26 out of the last 30 days . Yes that tells me something . You are fighting a losing battle and trying to protect a spoiled 1% trust fund baby .

Andrew Scheer, and you can't separate the politician from the ideology.

Justin Trudeau is doing extensive damage to our fiscal situation, to national unity, to our resource sector, and to our liberty.

Besides that, he is a human turd.

Make Justin a drama teacher again.

Trudeau is just another politician doing what all politicians do.

Next nail in the coffin of the Liberal Party & Trudeau specifically? How about Loblaw?

http://www.ctvnews.ca/business/how-...funding-for-loblaw-attracts-outrage-1.4372001

I've rethought this somewhat. Loblaw's is willing reduce it's carbon footprint by 23% (as long as they don't have to pay for it) by having you & I pay for replacing its commercial freezers in 300-400 of its stores by going to newer more efficient units using R744 as a refrigerant instead of Freon or Ammonia, etc...as R744 is a naturally available, safe, environmental friendly refrigerant with best thermo-physical and transport properties after ammonia. I wish Gerryh (HVAC Expert) was around to explain this in more detail, but in Layman's terms, so we can all appreciate Loblaw's decision and the Liberal Party's endorsing this with our tax dollars. We as Taxpayers get to pay a punitive tax to change our behaviors, but Liberal Corporate Donors receive our Tax Money to change their behaviors. Good Deal!

R744 is environmentally friendly, having zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) and minimal GWP (Global Warming Potential). It also has excellent thermodynamic properties and low energy usage making it suitable for a range of applications such as industrial heat extraction, chilled warehousing, shipping vessels, commercial refrigeration, and mobile air conditioning.

Do you think if they did pay for it they might attract a few more customers?

It was hypothetical. I was thinking more of personality and leadership attributes rather than party affiliations (which can, and do, change.) But of course in the system we have it's not possible to have a non-partisan PM. I think that's unfortunate; but it's also a whole different subject.
