Here's @MacleansMag @AaronWherry on: 1) Trudeau's nannies 2) Bev Oda's $16 Orange Juice

the progs and leftoids are moving in stereo with virtual reality shades on man.

and yet no virtual clue.

So because someone else has done something stupid in government, Trudeau should get a pass? Stupid logic.

If I recall correctly everyone was on her case not just the 'progs'.

Waste is waste.

So your open and accountable PM, @JustinTrudeau, just took back door out of caucus room, dodging reporters and their questions. #SunnyWays

Trudeau's passion is for being in front of the camera and rubbing shoulders with world 'bigwigs'. When it comes to answering questions on his own he'll send his cabinet members to do the dirty work.
What happens when Parliament convenes and the opposition parties start hammering him will be interesting to watch. I don't think he has the intelligence or the guts to take it in stride. Too big an ego. He'll sit and pout while him cabinet members do the talking. Maybe not even show up much after his glorious Throne Speech.
He is nothing but an arrogant, spoiled *****!

Yeah, I think people with a sense of entitlement are disturbed alright.
Subsidies for the rich, welfare for the rich, etc. is what this is. Trudeau can afford his own nannies. This is as stupid an "equality" as the wealthiest people getting OAP and such. It is only "equality" nominally as it does not mean as much to the wealthy as it does to working classes and poor classes. It is wasteful.
Trudeau's inheritance was worth around $1.2 million at the time, and his speaking fees garnered him more than $450,000 in his highest-earning year.
I think the salary for leader of the opposition is around $250,000 per year. PM salary is about $325,000. The dude never has been working class or poor, yet he really needs this subsidy for nannies.
Better that money goes to subsidize some family who struggles with both parents working and making a tenth of the PM's income.
Oh, but it is traditional.

Trudeau could look like a hero if he actually acknowledged the opposition to this and made the gesture to pay for it himself.

I mean, sure it would be shallow and empty identity politics but Harper survived on that for 10 years!

Amid backlash, Trudeau children to be raised by wolves

OTTAWA (The News Desk) — Facing backlash over using public funds to hire nannies, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that his three young children will instead be abandoned in the wild to be raised by wolves.

“We have heard you loud and clear,” the Liberal Party leader told the House of Commons on Thursday. “Xavier, Ella-Grace and Hadrien will sup at the teat of the she-wolf, not the taxpayer.”

Sometime in the coming weeks, the Trudeau children will be led into a clearing in the woods somewhere in the Canadian wilderness.

There, Trudeau and wife Sophie Grégoire will turn their backs on their offspring and walk away.

The children are already being warned that following their parents out of the woods will earn them the curse of the Baba Yaga, the Russian witch who rides in a shack atop the legs of a chicken.

The location will not be divulged, in hopes of keeping kind woodsmen from secreting away parcels of sweetmeats and dainty morsels for the Trudeau children to eat.

“Xavier, Ella-Grace and Hadrien will know what it is to eat their kill,” Trudeau said to raucous applause from the Liberal caucus.

Trudeau said he expects his children to quickly become integrated into the lupine social structure.

“My children will know what it is to range for hundreds of miles in search of the next meal. They will know what it is to nip at the hamstrings of a caribou, to bring it down and eat of its hindquarters as it writhes in the crimson snow.

“They will do so in a better Canada.”

At press time, the 23rd prime minister of Canada was busy fashioning his official residence at 24 Sussex into a rude hut of sod.

I think they should pay for the nannies out of their own pocket. We don't want frivolous spending to continue.....

The final, official price tag for shipping Prime Minister Stephen Harper's armoured limos to India in 2012 is in and it's even higher than previously thought.

The RCMP said it paid $1,200,260 to the Canadian Forces to transport two armoured Cadillacs and a bulletproof SUV to India in November of last year. That cost was provided to CBC News in documents released under the Access to Information Act.

While in India, Harper visited Agra, Delhi, Chandigarh and Bangalore. On each stop, the RCMP provided the prime minister with an armoured car or SUV. CBC News also reported on the presence of a Canadian Forces C-17 in India, which the government later admitted was used to transport the cars from Canada.

The documents also show RCMP officers were paid $286,779 in overtime during the trip.

What Bull-sh-t. With a salary of close to $400,000.00, Do we think he doesn't pay taxes. I would say we should be paying for the nannies. We have to...
