That's been my contention all along with this Trudeau A$$hole, I doubt if the guy has done an honest day's work in his life outside of teaching drama.:) :) :) Not even a hint of moxie, gumption or sagacity!
You're just jealous because he's doing better than you.

Sniff sniffity

What do you consider an honest days work?

I wouldn't speak for JLM but what I consider an honest days work is applying oneself diligently with commitment to any job
What Mr. Trudeau has done in his life is shift around from this to that as the spirit moves him. Easy to do when one has unlimited resources but it doesn't show stability.
Poor bugger, he must feel trapped being locked into a job for four years! But it can't be all that bad when he has underlings to do any work that needs to be done while he speechifies what others tell him to say and otherwise can travel around the globe vacationing with the elite and smiling for the press.

I doubt very much if I can provide a complete list of examples but I'll provide a few to give you an idea.

1. Fighting forest fires
2. Shovelling gravel from a pile onto a truck.
3. Setting chokers on a high lead logging operation.
4. (obsolete now) Setting pins at the bowling lanes
5. Pulling green lumber off the green chain and stacking it.
6. Working as a deck hand on a commercial fishing boat.
7. Furniture moving
8. Tree felling.
9. Tree planting
I think there's enough there to give you an idea. :) :)

Hopefully D.M. I've been able to provide enough ideas on the matter, which your explanation even enhances!

I am reminded of a mentally challenged man who started a paper route as a teenager and served as my in-laws' paper boy for many years. The exemplary way he carried out his duties in this so-called 'nothing' job earned him the respect of the community and gave him dignity. THAT was a job well done, imho!

Exactly- I know in bygone days what one did for a living was very important Ie doctor, lawyer, chartered accountant, but people are now starting to realize how you do your job is what is important as most jobs are necessary and each depends on other jobs.

That's what I would expect a shovel welding road worker to say. News flash!!! People think doctors are more important than road labourers

Did you read the first sentence of my post? The list wasn't meant to be all inclusive. A few of the jobs listed are ones I've actually done. I had teachers in school who were excellent and others that weren't worth a sh*t!

Y'all need to shut ye festering gobs and quit arguing like a bunch of 5 year old brats. :).

No worries Ludlow- just a couple of adults here trying to hear each other during a sensible conversation, but we get interrupted by this f**king sniffing noise in the background.
