So now Canadian truckers are all Heroes according to Trump.

I think we've really reached rock bottom when your role models have 9 teeth...spray paint swastikas on an upside down Canadian Flag...dance on the Tomb of the unknown soldier...and threaten our Prime Minister.

Just sayin'...

A week or so ago I was watching a report on how there is a shortage of chips (not the food kind).

The reason?

NOT supply chain.

Rather it was that at one point there was a 30 stockpile roughly of chips to be had, but about the same time Covid happened, demand for the chips increased.

And the makers of the chip did not increase for the demand, leading to the chips now being 2 weeks lagging in supply.

I think this might be a more common situation than actual supply chain per say.
That is a supply chain issue. It's not all about the trucks. It's about the boats that can't be unloaded due to shortage of dock workers. Or misjudging demand or people's crazy hording habits. Or the chip manufactures failing to anticipate demand. It all gets lumped into the supply chain and creates a whole bunch of issues.

This is getting interesting....

'VIOLATES ALBERTA TRAFFIC SAFETY ACT'

Premier Jason Kenney denounced the actions of those individuals involved in the protest near Coutts, saying they were in violation of provincial laws.

"It is causing significant inconvenience for lawful motorists and could dangerously impede movement of emergency service vehicles," he wrote on Twitter.

He also reiterated statements he made last week about all Canadians having a "democratic right to engage in lawful protests", but drew the line at creating hazards for others.

While he mentioned the Alberta Traffic Safety Act by name, he said his government's Critical Infrastructure Defence Act provides "additional penalties" for police and prosecutors to address blockades.

The Critical Infrastructure Defence Act was created to address situations where protesters impair critical economic infrastructure.

Punishments include a minimum fine of $1,000 and a maximum of $25,000, plus up to six months in jail for individuals and and a minimum fine of $10,000 and a maximum of $200,000 for corporations.

Kenney said he will continue to leave it up to police and border agents to make enforcement decisions.

ALBERTA OPPOSITION LEADER ALSO RESPONDS

Rachel Notley, leader of the Alberta NDP, said Sunday her party "unequivocally condemns" the blockade at the border as well as the symbols of hate and vandalism at other similar protests this weekend.

In a statement, she said the traffic disruption on Highway 4 is particularly troubling considering how it will affect shipping.

"The blockade of emergency vehicles to Albertans in need, and the disruption in the flow of vital goods through our major transportation corridor, is both dangerous and disgraceful. It puts lives at risk, hurts our economy, and hurts families. To put it bluntly, a small group first claiming to be concerned about the possibility of grocery shortages have now most assuredly caused them," she wrote.

It's not known when the highway will be cleared for travel.

Oh I saw it?

And when the hypocrisy of those here who also condemned every protester last year for BLM because of the 'assholes that took the opportunity to show how ignorant they really are", you don't get to claim that bullshit of "but there are always a few assholes in a crowd, they don't represent the all".

Every one of them is a piece of shit for not stopping any of the 'assholes' in their group from being assholes.
C'mon now, truckers are heroes.

They've been sent by the almighty one to save us from socialism.

So. . . when they storm Parliament, what's our White Right contingent gonna go with? Denying that it happened, or saying they were right to do it?

Course, nothing's stopping 'em from saying both. . .
So, is this on the itinerary? When is it scheduled for (?) and if so by whom?

On Saturday, dejected Liberals didn’t get the riots or the Jan. 6th moment they were hoping for.

The violence didn’t come on Sunday, either, as the protests surrounding the trucker convoy hit their second day.

Careful of the company you keep; this is Kenney's own MLA actively blocking traffic at the US border right now.

FKX3qa_UYAANLWL.jpg

Look I agree with the Protest.. however there are Truckers who are stuck at the border with no food and running out of fuel because these idiots are blocking HWY 4

I am unable to leave with my load tomorrow because of these idiots.. unless I make a point and make sure the leader of this protest won't need to be vaccinated for the rest of his life... because the last vaccine he gets is lead.

Get the fuck off the freeway and quit blocking up the border.

They have Bill 1 in Alberta.. but Kenney is learning from Trudeau and hiding.

If this was Natives they would have the RCMP cleaning house..

Okay , of the tens of thousands of everyday Canadians who cheered the convoy on along the route , who greeted and fed them in Toronto and again came out in support in Ottawa . At the same time other rallies of everyday Canadians were held in provincial capitals and other cities and towns .and you want to define them because a drunk guy peed on a statue . A statue dedicated to souls lost fighting for the very thing this gathering of everyday Canadians desire . FREEDOM .

just saying …..

I have questions:

Why, for this Canadian protest against Covid mandates, were TRUMP 2024 and Trump a la Rambo and Trump JFK flags in Ottawa? Why was someone walking with a "TRUMP WON, SAVE AMERICA!" flag?

Why was there a comments of "TRUCK CONVOY 2022! Let's Go Guys! White Canada will rise again?" "Make Canada White Again"?

Why did these people go to a soup kitchen, for the homeless, to demand food?

Why were people bringing up Trans/Gender issues?

Why the use of the Star of David with "Freedom" written on it?

Why a sign that says "No Lives Matter"?

Stop pretending this was about mandates. That it was about Covid.

If you don't denounce this BS, then again, you were for it.

All of them were for it.

posted this from an Ottawa paramedic:
A trauma patient died yesterday as paramedics were delayed getting to hospital.
“I worked as a medic in Ottawa this afternoon/evening. Peaceful demo? Yes. Respectful? Not one iota. Swastikas painted on Canadian flags. Confederate flags flying. Desecration of monuments. Not to mention the free for all drinking. And I know, personally, that emergency vehicles were obstructed. When trying to pass through crowds we were told repeatedly "it's my freedom to walk here". Lights and sirens meant nothing today. A trauma code DIED because vehicles wouldn't move for an ambulance on the way to the trauma centre. What should have been a 10min drive and fully survivable injury took 45 minutes and died as they arrived. Trucks and "support vehicles" obstructed another ambulance with someone on a cath lab bypass. Deliberately moving into the carpool lane to cut them off. Peaceful? Maybe. But as for respectful? It was the most disgusting display of human behaviour I have yet to witness.”
My thoughts on this??? When did human life ever play second fiddle to our beliefs???

…& if that drunk guy is a trucker who drove his highway tractor to Ottawa…. Do you think he would be jeopardizing his livelihood (One impaired charge and you’re done!!) drinking & driving (?) or does it seem a little stinky?

It seems stinky to me , but there were thousands of people in Ottawa that weren’t truckers .

No, Other Canadians are making themselves out to be 'feared'. Trudeau has nothing to do with it.

You want optimism? Have them actually DO something legitimate instead of this absolute bullshit going on right now.

Actually, they are doing some "Good". Because the extremist assholes who have taken this 'peaceful convoy' over have done what they did, money has come into the Legion and a homeless shelter and even the Terry Fox Memorial. Sad that it took workers at the shelter and one of the patrons there being assaulted for donations to come in but, well, it's a positive still I guess.

Well the RCMP are aware of my beef..

I don't believe in the mandates.. PERIOD Get rid of the fucking things, they are not helping anyone.

However, the truck blockade at the border.. there are truckers running out of food because they have been forcibly prevented from moving their trucks. I am very angry with this and they lost my support their.

When I came across the road North and South was blocked.. so like a good trucker, I hit the dirt road..

coutts2.jpg

Came out after the tracks and the blockade..

A few cars tried to get in my way, but at that point that is considered a hijack and I am in fear for my life.. so I put my foot in the oil pan and they hit the ditch. Otherwise, they wouldn't need to worry about getting a vaccine.. ever.

You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.

The prime minister has placed himself in between a rock and a hard place. If he does anything in the short term to stop the protest, he can then be called racist, he did nothing with the First Nations when they stopped the trains going through Ontario some years ago.
