I'm glad the shitty illegal ones are going to Ontario and Quebec and the majority of skilled, non-criminal immigrants who applied are coming to SK the legal way.

New census data shows the population of the metropolitan area of Regina outpaced the national growth rate over the last five years.

Statistics Canada released the first batch of numbers from the 2016 census on Wednesday and the population of what the government agency refers to as the census metropolitan area of Regina increased by 11.8 per cent since the last census in 2011.

The area’s growth rate was above the national growth rate of 5.0 per cent, while the population of Saskatchewan increased by 6.3 per cent.

The international migration rate to CMAs in the Prairies and Atlantic Canada remained stable, while it grow in all other areas. Despite this, Regina still had the highest international migration rate at 2.1 per cent. This is the Queen City’s second consecutive year topping this stat.
