oh I see...you're delusional. well if believing others are unhappy makes you happy, have at 'er.

Why do you call people whom are unhappy with their current situation whiners?
The only people who are whining on here are those opposed to helping refugees. One of the symptoms of a sociopath is the lack of empathy.

No new refugees are coming. The backlog is years old and won't be cleared until 2019 and then it will still take a year.

The backlog grew because, prior to 2012, there were no limits on the number of new applications that could be submitted,” department spokeswoman Remi Lariviere told The Huffington Post Canada in an email.

“As a result, we received more applications annually than we could process given the number of spaces in the immigration plan.”

Lariviere explained there are more than 45,000 refugees from all parts of the world who are currently waiting for their applications to be processed by Canadian officials.

“Some have been waiting for years,” she said.

“Our goal is to eliminate the backlog by 2019 and reduce wait times for new applications to about 12 months.”
See!

Pretty well everyone has "got a cross to bear" but the majority keep it to themselves! :)

No man is an island. Discussing with others a plight you find yourself in is not whining. It's using the village to come to a conclusion about your situation. Remember the saying "it takes a village to raise a child"? It takes a village for a person to make a well informed decision.

Keeping your "cross" to yourself ensures that you will have only your experience to make a decision by. Not great odds. A sure recipe for failure by most standards.
