He told it once before. I think he now is embarrassed about it. And yes he has seen shamans about his issues and smudges with sage and such. I wish he would tell his stories again.
But also remember... Cliffy's ticker went bad one day. Instead of consulting a shaman and lighting incense he dialed 911 and was rushed to the hospital on one of those evil fossil fuel guzzlers. Once he got there he was pumped full of drugs and connected to all kinds of petroleum based medical equipment. Things got so bad that he needed to be moved quickly to another hospital so he was whisked away in a Med Flight and pumped full of even more drugs and procedures were done to save his life.
No FN shamans were called in... he was not taken to a sweat lodge. He came back on CanCon to tell us the story and we all wished him well.
Alas... he has forgotten once again that the very things that he rails against are the things that saved him.
