Considering that the oceans are Fed jurisdiction, you would think that they would 'protect' the waters and marine life in the same way that they put in a tanker ban off the NW coast of BC to protect the environment and aquatic life.
Come to think of it, you'd wonder why that same tanker ban isn't in place in the St Lawrence Seaway or the East coast.
