Barge it out to deeper water or run the pipes out that far. Air bubbles should be a standard feature anyplace human and water touch. So should feeding large schools of fish (via water bombers) that will eventually be harvested and then shoot any pirates dead and ask questions later. Word will get out, come to the wholesale window.

Bottom feeders like ling cod are better served as a processed item so shipping frozen is a solution for getting it into the hands of the flat-landers, the ones with all that yummy bacon.

I doubt the lower mainland would like to see the industrial centers move away from the residential sectors even though that is a global trend. The ports would tend to go the way of all company towns and the lower mainland still has a role as they administer everything and get paid a very tidy sum to do what could only be deemed to be 'lack-luster performance' as they fear working themselves out of a job. On the plus side the shores have signs of life and the smells that go with it unlike certain sections of the ports that do not get the attention they deserve so they carry a stench instead.

Tourism with glass pods would have the waterways become the aquarium as adding food to the water is about all you need to do to attract fish. there are no cold water loving sharks

Funny how pro pipeline sheeple get their panties in a knot over some protesters getting paid when all those pushing the pipeline are getting paid but not a squeak about that. Most protesters are being supported by those who can't be on the front line but appose the project. Ain't capitalism wonderful. The rich get richer and the poor get smog and polluted water.

... And all the protestors need gas to travel to the site.

Hilarious.

.. Think about doing something about the millions of tons of raw sewage that you are pumping into the oceans each and every day.

Fish exposed to that die within 20 minutes.

... Do that and maybe, just maybe someone might take you seriously

Have you ever seen a protestor that is not a hypocrite?

Don't worry whatever smog and polluted water they get, the rich are getting the same thing.

The Resident pod are not mammal eaters.

But the transients are. So they are much needed to help balance out the salmon stocks.

I just did the math

You might want to read it - but seeing as how you don't even read the links you post...

Victoia discharges 150 tons of partially treated sewage per day.

it would take 6,666 day for them to discharge even one million tons of partially treated sewage.

do you see how your claim of "millions of tons a day" makes you look somewhat misinformed?

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Re On yet another note, why are there no protests or mention of blood potentially being spilled over the issue of the vast amounts of untreated, raw sewage contaminating the coastline of BC?

seriously?

there have been protests for decades.

why are you even in this debate - you know literally nothing
Bullshit. Maybe on Tuesday you can ask your math teacher to help you with basic arithmetic. Here is the basic formula one gallon of water weighs 10 lbs. all you have to do is look up how many gallons Victoria dumps in the ocean every day and multiply it by 10 . Decide by 2000 and you will have tons.

I think it goes directly to the ocean floor so only flat fish and bottom feeders should be affected. I suppose some may argue that shit floats!

If they truly were out to stop the line they should be camped out near Edmonton not in Burnaby.

Pipe is being made, heavy equipment is being rounded up, tenders are out, unions are prepping, Natives are out smudging and waving magic eagle feathers to bless the line.

It's a go.
Is the sweet grass ready yet or do they still use last years dregs ?

which is perfectly illustrative of how non fact based this argument is.

And after all that sh+t being spilled verbally and otherwise- we are left with the original statement- that the Kinder Morgan pipeline WILL

NOT BE BUILT UNTIL OUR IDIOT BOY JUSTIN IS DUMPED OUT OF OFFICE!!!!!

And then there is the related statement:

THAT OUR BORDERS WILL REMAIN WIDE OPEN TO ANY LIAR WHO SHOWS UP WITH A SOB STORY UNTIL JUSTIN IS GONE!!!!!!!

Turn B.C. waterways into aquariums using glass bottomed boats????????????????

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why not start with tours on the Fraser River Delta- it is located conveniently close to Vancouver pubic transit!!!!

JUts make sure to warn the tourists NOT to put their hands in the water since it is so HEAVILY LACED with a lively mixture of semi treated sewage from towns up river and with a creative mix of products from companies like Monsanto- with VERY HEAVY usage of insecticides and herbicides from all sorts of farms in the area!!!

All of that waste also gets a huge volume added to it the water used in the system, not to mention how much additional clean water is contaminated by contact.

Cliff ain't gonna like this, he wants them to stay on welfare.

B.C. First Nation enters the pipeline services business

The Lower Nicola Indian Band near Merritt, B.C. has purchased a pipeline services company that provides maintenance support to Kinder Morgan and other energy sector clients.

The Band's economic wing, Lower Nicola Site Services (LNSS), announced in August that it has bought 51 per cent of Ogilvie Mountain Holdings, based in Hope, B.C., in a joint venture with Vancouver partner Infracon.

Chief Aaron Sam Sumexheltza said the Lower Nicola Indian Band has a high unemployment rate and the jobs created by the purchase would bring revenue to the band.

Sumexheltza said the venture will create up to 40 jobs in peak season, and in quieter seasons could provide employment for up to 20 of the 1,250 band members.

"It's a great opportunity for us to have our community members be able to work on the ground and be involved in taking care of and knowing what's going on, on our traditional lands," he told Shelley Joyce, host of CBC's Daybreak Kamloops.

Kinder Morgan Canada's director of emergency management, Jamie Kereliuk, tweeted in support of the move.

Positive move , it is good to see more native bands going back to their traditional economic routes .

That was part of the point of moving the messy part on a 'congested waterway' to some location better able to handle the demands. If you never start the program takes a lot longer that it has to. The other choice is do nothing and become a backwater slum that even the black market shuns.

Apparently it'll be FNs who end up killing it Cliff.

Running oil companies, pipelines, logging, trolling the seas of all its life.

What's happening Cliff? Why are they Hell bent on raping and pillaging the land?
