The real issue (and the reason CB is so desperately trying to change the subject) is that he, and people like him place a higher value on a dollar than they do ethical behaviour.
LOL, subways cost more, way more.
Maybe you should actually read before you comment, that way you wouldn't embarrass yourself so badly.
BTW: Since you failed to grasp what I've actually said in this thread and several others... I don't live in Tdot and gain no financial benefit from any cost saving measures Ford may undertake. I simply see a politician that formed a platform, ran on that platform, was elected with a mandate, and then went about implementing that platform, without all the excuse so often touted when said politician gets into office.
I hope that clears up your mistake... oh wait, you don't make those, so you must have been lying again. tsk tsk Cannuck, and you want to talk about ethics?
lolz.
NP seems to be having issues this morning. I can't get their page up.
So anyways...
Why should he step down?
That's exactly what his opponents have wanted since the beginning.
Scratch that, I know he does — because I heard his lawyer on the radio on Friday, making the same impossible request of Chief Blair. Ford knows full well the Chief can’t release the video, which is probably why he’s demanding it. It sounds open and transparent, but he might as well be demanding the Chief travel back in time and make an independent recording of the incident.
In that case, the chief shouldn't have made the alleged contents of the video public.
There's nothing like wanting to have your cake and eat it too.
