Call me Pavlov- You are the dog. A dogs intelligence has been equated to a 2 1/2 year old child. Those are the intelligent ones. You are not.
You have been conditioned in a different way- after you reach that emotional response of a childish 4 year old's temper tantrum of massive Reds, which does not take long as your emotional responses are so easy to manage. I just look at your Reds and let you know now that is my way of telling you to fuk off.

Please stay out of the fast lane, you get run over.

Why do you equate reds with temper tantrums. Is there an emotional importance you place on reds?

Around here they are also the enforcement arm of local governments.

Is there a point you are trying to make?

Again, my issue is not what Ford has or hasn't done. I don't follow TO politics. I'm simply pointing out that people say they don't care what Ford does or who he associates with because they like his politics. That is putting money ahead of ethics and integrity. It is not much different than people excusing Ralph's treatment of the people at the homeless shelter just because "he did what he said he would do".
Another media witch hunt , just a different target .

What crimes have the organization I work for committed?

Extracting money from the residents of your community for projects they do not want under threat of stealing said property if they do not comply. Telling residents what they can and cannot do on their own property. You might also be interested in checking council and sr. staff expense accounts to really make you ill.

National Post: Rob Ford’s best option is step aside and get help. Of course, that won’t happen

Ford dodged explicit, and polite, questions from listeners about what drugs he’d smoked from glass pipes (Response: Sorry, haven’t seen the video). He begged the media not to trespass on his property, which is fair, but then said he’d happily meet the media anywhere to talk — which is insane, coming from a man who has denied entire media outlets access to even his itinerary. He repeatedly demanded that Chief Blair publicly release the video, and when Honickman told him he couldn’t do that as it’s now evidence before the courts, Ford simply declared that he wasn’t a legal expert. Okay, but he has lawyers, right?

Scratch that, I know he does — because I heard his lawyer on the radio on Friday, making the same impossible request of Chief Blair. Ford knows full well the Chief can’t release the video, which is probably why he’s demanding it. It sounds open and transparent, but he might as well be demanding the Chief travel back in time and make an independent recording of the incident.

The real issue (and the reason CB is so desperately trying to change the subject) is that he, and people like him place a higher value on a dollar than they do ethical behaviour.
LOL, subways cost more, way more.

Maybe you should actually read before you comment, that way you wouldn't embarrass yourself so badly.

BTW: Since you failed to grasp what I've actually said in this thread and several others... I don't live in Tdot and gain no financial benefit from any cost saving measures Ford may undertake. I simply see a politician that formed a platform, ran on that platform, was elected with a mandate, and then went about implementing that platform, without all the excuse so often touted when said politician gets into office.

I hope that clears up your mistake... oh wait, you don't make those, so you must have been lying again. tsk tsk Cannuck, and you want to talk about ethics?

lolz.

NP seems to be having issues this morning. I can't get their page up.

So anyways...

Why should he step down?

That's exactly what his opponents have wanted since the beginning.

In that case, the chief shouldn't have made the alleged contents of the video public.

There's nothing like wanting to have your cake and eat it too.

If he were shiny, Daniel Dale would have a shrine to Rob in his room.

The police chief chose his words wisely by saying they have what the media had been reporting on.

Nothing wrong with that.

That's not all he said.

If he were shiny, Daniel Dale would have a shrine to Rob in his room.
Ahhh yes, Shiny Pony gets a pass on smoking drugs by the media and those that lean left.

In defence of Mayor Rob Ford

The left is not outraged that Ford might be using hard drugs.

These are the people who think hard drug users are our better equals and should have free drugs and a plush place to inject them.

No, the bottom line is they don’t like that a fat, red-faced football coach with a working-class way about him is mayor. They don’t like that he’s not “people like us.” That’s all it’s ever been about.

It’s absurd to suggest Toronto Star reporters make things up.

But it’s not absurd to point out that their search for skeletons in the mayor’s closet would never have been as relentless if anyone else had been elected mayor.

Bingo!!!

And although I would agree that the reporters at Der Star wouldn't make things up, crack is so much more titillating and headline grabbing than pot.

I do find it amusing that some are trying to make it a right/left issue.
It has been from the beginning.

If you were even mildly informed, you probably wouldn't make such embarrassing statements.

BTW: Kudos for backing down on your other tact. I know it must have been hard to have read how you embarrassed yourself and all, lol.

TheStar

I don't think Rob's own councillors really qualify as left but whatever.
LOL, ya, they're the ones leading the charge. Nice stretch and deflection, lol.

Oh we're talking about a completely fictitious group of pitchforks now.
Nope. But I can see you want to ignore the facts, lol.

Good call. You hang on to that anger.

You're beloved Star even calls it like it sees it, lol...

A byelection would also head off what’s sure to be a bitter appointment battle between left- and right-wing factions on city council. City hall has become polarized enough without that. The best way, for all concerned, is to let the people choose who speaks for them.

Oh ya, U still mad.

Oh Christina, I'm not a huge fan, but when you nail it, you nail it good...

Documents on Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s friend Alexander Lisi describe small-time guys with a weed problem

Oh ya, they gunna be so mad.

The resources devoted to the investigation were extraordinary.

But for all the diversion of the video, what the ITO describes are a bunch of small-time guys with a weed problem.

Ya, I was just reading that.

I found it really interesting that Blair and company would sign off on such an expenditure, such as a surveillance aircraft, considering how far down, way down, the food chain Lisi is.

Something smells funny about that.

Flossy, Cannuck, I have to ask, is it that you're blinded by your hate or your ideology, that causes you to ignore the bigger picture, or are both of you just not equipped to gather and process that much information?

The streak of hypocrisy that runs through our country is wide and deep.

When Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau this summer admitted he’d smoked weed a few times in the past — setting the precedent for other politicians, including Ford, to admit that they’d smoked it too — and announced he supported not just the decriminalization but the legalization of possessing small amounts of marijuana, it was to considerable approbation and even where there was upset, it was mild.

There are many good burghers — in Rosedale, and Forest Hill, and downtown, where I live, and where I can’t go out on my leafy street most nights without being transported back to the 1960s by the smell of the stuff — who are more sophisticated and ever-so-much smarter than Rob Ford who would have raised a joint, if one can do that, Thursday night, and toasted the demise of Toronto’s rotund, pink, embarrassing mayor. And that is not as sordid, but just as unappetizing, as everything else about the piece. Christina Blatchford.

Bear officially admits this isn't a left wing mobbing.

Everyone can breathe easy now.
