I do not agree with Norm. They are a horrible team. They pull it together for a couple of games then scew up. O-suck-a, their closer, has anxiety issues. They have the most walk off losses against them than any team in the majors (13). They are managed by a moron and their front office lacks anything close to competence. They have some bright spots but too many holes to be a contender. I will reserve my judgement of next season until I see what they do this off-season.

Jays suck. Just like the Reds, a bunch of f'ing losers.

But it would be awesome to see them play one of their last home games this year.

I think i'll come down and see them for a game.

A hard-headed bouncer at the posh Cactus Club threw Blue Jays ace Marcus Stroman a curveball that left the young star reeling.
After his convincing 5-2 victory - his career-high 12th win - over the Kansas City Royals, the 26-year-old righthander was looking forward to a nice meal with family at Cactus Club.
Instead, he got the brush back - and brush off - from the bouncer.
Stroman tweeted: "Shout to the security guards at @cactusclubcafe for denying me entry for a post-game meal. Off to @SohoHouse with the family!" A witness told CityNews that the very big for his britches bouncer that the Stro Show rolled into the Cactus Club with a party of three.
But Stroman was then confronted by the bouncer. The pint-sized pitcher confirmed that his party had a reservation.
The rent-a-cop told the Blue Jays ace that he was not welcome in the club. When Stroman protested, the guard blocked his way, the witness said, adding that the guard appeared to escalate the situation and trying to intimidate the sophomore.
Reportedly Stroman is a regular at the popular club in the financial district.
And whoops, the club tweeted their apologies today.
"Please know we are deeply sorry for last night and fixing the issue right now. You're always welcome at Cactus."
As for the Cactus Club, the three-storey "creative fine dining" Adelaide St. location seats 500 and is on three levels.

It's official. They Jays have been eliminated from post-season contention. I know that is shocking. Maybe next year or 2033 (17 years after last year).

And as a reward ... ticket prices are rising. We wound up seeing 6 games this year. Likely will reduce that next year. Suspect we will not be alone.

When I heard that Roger's was raising it's ticket prices, I was gobsmacked, IRBS. Why would they do that when they've never had a problem getting the fans out. I thought it was a smack in the kisser to season ticket holders as well as the occasional attendee. Then with the poor year the Jays have had, the decision to do so really looked bad.

I paid $56 for tickets that were 3 seats from the field in the 113A section. The tickets seemed expensive but I got drunk with Bautistas family so it was alright.
