People enjoy the sport and go see it not because they're stupid but because its an interest to them.

To say that people who go to these games are idiots is hypocritical especially since most of what you pay for as a Canadian is way over priced, such as Oil. Are people idiots for driving vehicles because we get gouged unfairly at the pumps for example because our government is in league with big business?

The thuggery rate is pretty low in general at this end of the country. Toronto is boringly civilized as large cities go. Your Western cities are becoming pretty crime-riddled, though.

Disease? What the feck are you talking about?

Pollution .... We make a lot but the big, Yankee industrial areas to windward of us (Ohio Valley, etc.) make a lot more and we end up chew ... breathing theirs.

Humidity ....yup.

Unless things really go south in the 9th, IRBS, it looks as if the Jays are in line for their 4th win in a row. They are up 12 - 5 over the White Sox bottom of the 8th. Every player in the line-up has had a hit or an RBI tonight. Happ did a solid job as starter and the bullpen followed up nicely. The Sox struck first but the Jays soon followed and once they got the lead they never surrendered it. They singled, doubled, tripled and homered. I'm liking some of these new guys on the roster. Reasons to cheer so early in the year.

Oops..........make that 14 - 5 and that'll do it for the 8th - Jays get 7 runs in the inning. GO JAYS, GO! :smile:

It's a win for the Jays, IRBS............Loup let one guy on base then shut down the next three batters. :smile:
