Oh Roberto...........you had one job to do and one only................bad day indeed. Jays drop their second game of the series with the Angels after going into the 9th with a 2-run lead.

Something to cherish from an otherwise dismal season across the board.

See them on Saturday and next Thursday. Then done for the season.

And as a reward for such an exciting product on the field this year, we get to pay more to see them next year. Yay!

I'm still hanging in there, IRBS. Have no hopes, no expectations and simply sit back and see what happens. Happy when they win, but not upset when they lose. Now if I were a Blue Jay ticket holder or someone who lived close enough to attend home games, I'd be really choked at the rise in ticket prices. Thing is though that no matter how bad they've been this year, the fans keep coming - will be interesting to see the turn-out next year. Hope the guys can come through with a win or two for you when you are at Rogers, IRBS.

We went to our 5th/6 game yesterday. Saw a pitcher make his ML debut and handcuff Pittsburgh. Enough offense although 4 runs of it were off an error. The ironic part is I saw the replay on TV, the ball hit the batters leg so technically it was a foul ball but the umps missed it and Pittsburgh did not challenge (they would have won). Our 6th game is Thursday. I will likely reduce my number of games by 1 next year to compensate for increased costs. We go because we like the environment. But if they were winning this year, I probably would consider buying another game, But with them losing and then spitting at the fans by increasing prices (its not like they go out and sign the expensive free agents -- they don't even keep the ones they have) so it is a slap in the face. If Rogers does its penny pinching with the payroll, don't expect the fan to pay more for the product. I expect a more dismal attendance next year.
