I have a much better idea. Let's build great big stealth blimps and use them as stationary, high altitude weapons platforms with lasers and death rays of varying sorts and drop tanks made from indestructable nano carbon tubes.

Kinda like a mini death star but within the atmosphere.

So you're hoping for an argument that you can win? How about you make the case for the aircraft and we can see what you make of that.

No I can handle my own in arguments without having to 'dumb down' the opposing side.

I'm hoping that the opposing side will use their brains and come up with better reasons (instead of the same two lame ducks) why the troops shouldn't have, or don't deserve to have, their equipment replaced with kit that serves them far better in their duty which is to defend this country (their primary mission) and to fullfill our commitments to our allies (NORAD, NATO), and lastely for peacekeeping (a hobby).

If Canadians are so commited to being against the Fores having the kit to do their jobs then why can't they come up with anything else?

The only use for the military should be for helping out after natural disasters and preventing the country from being torn apart from within. Nobody is going to invade us because the US already owns our resources and nobody is going to phuk with them. We need to get out of NATO and NORAD. If we were only committed to helping our friends when attacked, that would be fine, but they expect us to join them in invading other countries, so I say, they are not real friends.
