Suspect the use of the term "shallow people" relates to how Trump talks.....when he is degrading, bashing and trashing whoever is the current target(s) in his lens. It has to do with his attitude of superiority (actually his DELUSIONS of superiority and grandiosity),,,,,all part of his dysfunctional psych make up.
Suspect the US pop could never admit they voted into office a mentally unstable person. (stating the obvious). They will 'normalise " his behavior. make excuses for him........but not even consider that his mental state is an issue. It would reflect on them.........the VOTERS. So denial kicks in. and projection......
They would have to take responsibility for voting in a mentally disturbed person.(a risk to the country) or admit that they did not recognize that he has issues. and were sold his bill of goods . Who likes to admit they have been conned by a professional liar.

This treaty was negotiated by then-president Bill Clinton more than 20 years ago and approved by the U.S. Senate. Among other things, Ukraine agreed to furnish “documents, records, the taking of testimony or statements of persons” relevant to any U.S. investigation.
