House Democrats launched a formal impeachment inquiry last month as details of the conversation were made public.
Trump has publicly maintained that the call was "absolutely perfect" and "totally appropriate."
Text messages given to Congress Thursday and released by House Democrats suggest the call was part of a broader effort from Trump and his administration to pressure Ukraine.

Sure it's possible.


Is it *likely*, that's more the question I think.


And I don't see HOW. He outright admitted to wanting another government to investigate a potential rival for Presidency which is against the law in the US during an election.


The only way he could be 'better' for it all, in the end, is if the law and Constitution - which supposedly the right holds to be the best thing ever created - no longer matters.

I'm surprised you aren't familiar with the term. There's lots of versions of it. One that I encounter a lot is people who form negative opinions of people from news reports w/o actually witnessing in person what the subject may or may not have said or done. In other words who "give legs to gossip". :)

I know what shallow means, I just didn't understand what you meant by it in this context.


Trump himself has proven the kind of person he really is, repeatedly, with his own words and actions.
