I'm getting the distinct impression that this impeachment bull shit is on the verge of dying a fast death. I guess Nancy is beginning to get cold feet upon thinking she was about to become some kind of heroine, but now coming to realize the whole charade might just blow up in her face!

It's not just about the initial call the whistleblower was in on. For instance, it's about the subsequent call at the restaurant that 3 or 4 people overheard and apparently Trump sent Giuliani over there to check how the "investigation" was going. There's a plethora of sources for evidence. For a crook, Trump isn't terribly aware of how to be a good one in political arenas.

So do you think Joe Biden should be given a clear pass , if he committed crimes while serving as VP ? This is not about Biden is not an answer as the phone call was about his actions .
If Biden wins the nomination and subsequently the election , should a partisan Republican house impeach him for alleged crimes while he was VP .

Just asking for a friend .

Nope. If someone abuses their position, they should beheld accountable.

This is not about Biden is not an answer as the phone call was about his actions .

So there are protocols that Trump should have followed rather than attempt to blackmail or coerce Zelensky.

Sure, but it still shouldn't have any effect on Trump's impeachment.
If I go and intentionally murder someone, does it matter why I did it? Not so much.

It could make a hell of a lot of difference...…………………..take the case of someone murdering a 90 year old woman while attempting to rob her and rape her compared to the case of someone murdering a dope pusher caught trying to get his 13 year old grand daughter hooked on dope! Quite a difference wouldn't you think?

Yeah, I overhear private conversations people have on their phones in restaurants all the time.

Yes it does , if you shoot someone for no other reason than you disagree , you should be hung . If you shoot someone because he is trying to rape your daughter you are a hero .

But there have been two impeachments since then. The Clinton impeachment was a farce, and the Trump impeachment cannot lead to a conviction. Still, it does act as something of a brake on presidential action.

Nope. Murder is murder is murder. After that, it is up to jury or judge.

I think the Dems are waiting for the witnesses. If there are witnesses and they don't show up, the issue is futile and nothing gets decided. Mob tactic, to keep witnesses from testifying.
