Just a reminder. The relevant text of 18 USC 201(b):

"Whoever. . . being a public official. . . directly or indirectly, corruptly demands, seeks, receives, accepts, or agrees to receive or accept anything of value personally or for any other person or entity, in return for. . . being influenced in the performance of any official act. . . shall be fined under this title or not more than three times the monetary equivalent of the thing of value, whichever is greater, or imprisoned for not more than fifteen years, or both, and may be disqualified from holding any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States."

Why hasn't Pelosi moved ahead with the impeachment articles? They should have been taken to the senate by now?

Considering the bias of the Senate - admitted to by several members even before the trial starts - why should she?


And now with additional stuff coming out about Trump that supports the Impeachment... the hole gets deeper and deeper.

They are starting to plant stories and claiming to have emails for that gotcha moment

Schumer renews call for witnesses to testify in impeachment trial in wake of 'game changer' report

I find it really amazing how these un-named sources come out with damning leaks at the exact time the Dems. need something to carry their narrative forward, that only to turn out fabricated.

Witnesses like those that were in on Trump's call to Zemensky? You know, the ones that Trump ordered to not testify. Yeah I bet they have a few stories to "plant". And Trump would never tell a lie, right? hahahaha

More like the witnesses that claimed Kavanaugh was a rapist, they were just taking one for the team, just like the whistle blower

And the one on the Zelensky call that testified against Trump said the transcript was correct go figure.

No bias in congress . How many Republicans voted for impeachment ? How many Democrats didn’t vote for impeachment ?

Kavanaugh (and his lack of what it takes to be a good judge) has got nothing to do with the Ukrainian thing.
The witnesses I was referring to were Mulvaney, Giuliani, etc. and you know that's who I was referring to.

Their entire f***ing system is backwards down there. Wouldn't wisdom dictate that a guy should only be impeached AFTER he's been found guilty of a crime in a court of law? And even then politics should have no bearing the matter. A judge (politically impartial) would decide his fate.

Mulvaney, Giuliani were not in on the call so I'm not sure what you mean, a person that was on the call testified the transcript was correct, but pissed that Trump didn't use his talking points.

I wonder if the 4 senators that are candidates in the primaries will be impartial in the impeachment trial?

They should be recused from the hearing do to manipulating the 2020 election

It's not just about the initial call the whistleblower was in on. For instance, it's about the subsequent call at the restaurant that 3 or 4 people overheard and apparently Trump sent Giuliani over there to check how the "investigation" was going. There's a plethora of sources for evidence. For a crook, Trump isn't terribly aware of how to be a good one in political arenas.
