Their sights are lousy.

The safety is placed in a very poor position, as you have to completely remove one hand from the firing position to engage/disengage the safety.

The safety goes CLANK when pushed off.

The rifle is poorly balanced.

The rifle is not very accurate.

But it does WORK!
