I haven't experienced any setbacks. Democrats win or lose, Republicans win or lose, whatever horse race nonsense you have such personal investment in doesn't effect me. Sorry clowns. You're just too desperate.

No desperation here, just an understanding of what went on south of the border. You have got to be more gracious when your POV is not shared by others.

Here is a fresh link to CNN. I dug it up just for you. I believe that you trust CNN. You can read up and hear more about the shutdown here.

And yet you're still trying. You keep saying 'move on' and yet you ain't moving on. You desperate clowns seem to be under the impression that I support the Democratic party and that their loss is my loss.

I'm only commenting on how desperate you all are to pin this on each other. It's quite a sad display watching you fall all over each other. And now you're trying to pin it on me while having no clue whatsoever what I'm actual politics are.

The really sad part is all the people getting their panties twisted over Trump and yet they seem oblivious to the fact that we have three times the idiot running our country! You just can't fix "stupid".

It seems to me that Trudeau and his handlers relish Trump's presidency. They aren't being bashed in the press because Canadians, and people here like OB, Hoid, Corduroy, etc. are so fixated on what's happening south of the border that the Liberals are getting a free pass.

The feds aren't reneging on election promises so much as they are simply ignoring them. It amounts to an Ottawa vacation for many of them. Like everything political, things never stay the same, so they will eventually have to face the CDN public. When that happens depends, in large measure, on what's on US television.

We wait until intermission.

Yep, we have to make sure we get rid of this bozo next election, hopefully before too much serious damage is done. How many people in Canada don't even have a family doctor while we bend over backwards trying to treat disease the immigrants brought with them, not to mention treating the mentally imported? What verifiable progress has been made in 21/2 years with MMIG and W? How many squalid shacks have been replaced with decent houses? Has there been 100? What is the level of our National Debt now? Maybe fraud charges are in order!

LOL, Schumer folded like a cheap suit and really showed the UNemptyness of the demoncratic potty.

Chuck Schumer Folds Like A Cheap Suit As The Most Purposeless Government Shutdown Ever Ends

The government shutdown ended today and to call this phase anything other than an abject and total humiliation of Chuck Schumer (I exaggerate because you have to have a sense of shame in order to be humiliated) is an understatement.

Schumer had tried to make a DACA agreement part of the the funding battle, an in this effort he was assisted by Republicans like Lindsey Graham.

In the end, he was placed in the position of choosing between a protracted fight on DACA or the CHIP program. This was a fight he could not win and would never had undertaken if he’d had a modicum of respect for Mitch McConnell. Keep that thought in mind going forward.

When McConnell dictated terms of surrender last night, Schumer was worse off in terms of the deal plus his party had taken such a beating in the polls that even reliable cheerleaders like CNN were saying they needed to call it quits.

He was dealing with the Republicans instead of Trump and got DACA back on the table.
