With all these positive reports you cite it's difficult to understand why Assad is still in power and his government seems to be spreading back out to the borders. You might like to consult some sources other than Fox News and Romance novels.

.
Since the first Russian objective involved closing the Turkish border I wonder if 'they' were not a bit concerned how far they would go into Turkey in pursuit of ISIS.

That would make the US an ISIS member on the planet. That would make it China and Russia against the US and not a shot has to be fired to win that war as it is a financial one. (ISIS is threatening to start recruiting in China)

If Iran is backing up in Iraq then it will be for the same reason that a warning was put out when Russian supersonic bombers came in from the Med Sea. It was classifying it as a no fly zone as the fighters were on auto-kill as protection for the bombers. I wonder why this particular bomb seems to have parts that start to fly away and they return to the same area they left and they carry a big bang. They could call it 'adios convoy'. Apparently they have an assortment.

You have to love the part where somebody says 'there are parts falling off the plane and his buddy says 'Those are bombs stupid'

Update, I was wrong about Russia dropping out of the IMF over the Ukraine thing.

“We keep hearing ‘Daesh is our main enemy’. But obviously a no-fly zone has no relevance with respect to Daesh.” Jatras told Radio Sputnik. “It can only be relevant with respect to overthrowing the Syrian government and confronting Russia there, and of course they are fighting against Daesh. So what is it that we’re trying to achieve there? They don’t clearly know, it seems, except maybe to fight everybody all the time.”

Putin says Russia backs Free Syrian Army alongside Assad troops | Reuters

I guess Putin thinks... If you can't beat them, join them.

The US backed Rebels are in a much better position to defeat ISIS which is why Putin has joined the winning side. The SAA is whipped tired and the Iranians have shown themselves to be completely incompetent. Hezbollah has been bled white.

Sputnik News and now Pravda... c'mon now!

Still salty about the Turks embarrassing the Russian AF I see. :)
