A very good question davesmom. Capitalism is about competition the result of which is market control while the former is healthy the later is not. Capital efficiency demands elimination of competition. Competition is evil in the eyes of the capitalist. So oil is not the rare and disappearing thing that we are led to believe it is and is the most important fuel of human developement and commerce. Control the wells and the flow and you control the world. We in the west don't build things anymore we wreak everything that threatens our control and then loot and plunder. The west has become a parasite on the body of mass humanity. The last thing the west needs or wants is free competition or markets. We are what we do and not what we say.
And two or three since. The crimes of the west will be blamed on the East without exception.
The wars are to stop Muslims from making use of the oil, for sale or for domestic use.
