The United States is considering sending a small number of special operations forces to Syria and attack helicopters to Iraq as it weighs options to build momentum in the battle against Islamic State, U.S. officials said on Tuesday.
The options appeared to stop short of deploying American troops in any direct ground combat roles, something Obama has so far ruled out.

During lunch with old friends outside MacDill AFB in Tampa, two U.S. Special Operations Command officials, who spoke to me on condition of anonymity, reported that the orders are in and that we will be deploying 3,000 troops to the AO (Area of Operations).
"Chip, we are concerned due to the scope of our mission there. We will be embedded with Syrian Opposition forces, we believe that many are Al Queda or ISIS sympathizers who are not actively engaged against the terrorist threat but rather in support of a regime change.
In this lies our dilemma. Russia is currently carrying our their air wart against both the terrorist threat and enemies of Assad. That places American Troops dead in the target sights of Russia.
We believe that we are being used as paws and many will be sacrificed as a means to war with Russia. The defense contractors with whom we deal in contracts and purchases are gearing up for a war against Russian style equipment.
There are just too many indicators pointing to the administrations move to false flag a war. At the cost of American Lives again!"
What say you America. In for another war, this one of colossal magnitude? Why? It will not just be Russia, But rather Russia and their new Ally, China.

Of course the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights is actually a single individual named Rami Abdel Rahman, who is admittedly sympathetic to those seeking the division and destruction of Syria. Rami Abdel Rahman is also based in the UK, so is not actually “observing” anything in Syria. He himself has been observed coordinating his activities with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London.

The lost personel will be replaced in every armed force that opposes US hegemony and its attempt to install global gonernance and they will be replaced right down to the last availble man and woman. The west has been bombing power stations and hospitals in Syria the whole time it has been lying through it's rotten teeth about saving the Syrian civilians. Something it has never done in all its ilegal wars of conquest.
I think all countries should keep their noses out of what other sovereign nations do unless that sovereign nation attacks another country.
We have a choice whether to deal with countries or not. The Mid-east oil is not really needed, Syria has nothing we really need to trade for or buy. So why not ignore them if we don't like how they are?
As long as the Mid-eastern countries are predominantly Muslim they will be in constant turmoil. What we need to do is ensure that they keep their religious conflicts out of our own countries and not concern ourselves with what they do at home.
