I shouldn't anymore answer this one; according to the Quran 6: 108
The explanation:
([O believers] revile not the [idolaters] who pray those other than God, lest they hasten to revile God in their ignorance;

thus We make the [righteous] work of each people seem fair to them,

then they [after death] will return to their Lord, Who will tell them about all that they did [and reward them accordingly.] )

God – be glorified – does not concern me alone; He concerns Jews, Christians, Muslims and others (although they may call Him by different names). Therefore, such reviling is not directed only against me, but such reviling is related to all these peoples.

The atheist can be answered and refuted; but he resorts to reviling God, which prevents us from replying to him.

Such God's reviling indicates non-scientific way of discussion, that the purpose of such atheist is only to curtail such discussion.

The atheist is worse than the idolater

The idolater knows God Almighty, but he assigns some idols as partners or associates with God; while the atheist denies God; so the atheist is worse than the idolater.

The idolater and the associater (who associates some righteous men with God Almighty) will go to Hell to be there forever, as will the atheist go to Hell to be there forever like the associater or more.

The idolater and the associater (who associates some righteous men with God Almighty) will be punished in Hell forever, and no intercession will be accepted for his behalf; only because He considered some men equal to God, and so he did not esteem God as He should be esteemed when he considered some other men equal to God Almighty.

The punishment of the atheist will start immediately following his death, when devils will capture him and inflict him by various humiliating punishment and will be imprisoned in the fire of volcanoes or the fire of the core of the earth, which is the Hell of the present World.

[I saw a vision or night dream that I may tell it later on, about the punishment of atheists and idolaters following their death in the Hell of the volcanoes or the core of the earth.]

On Judgment Day the atheist will be punished in Saqar :) Hell) forever, and no judgment will be done for him; because he denied the Creator: God: his Lord.

The idolater may be better than the atheist; because the idolater acknowledges God Most Gracious, while the atheist does not admit that God exists. The idolater has known God in addition to his associates or idols, while the atheist is worse because he is astray without master and without patron.

This is in the Quran 5: 72

The explanation:
(They are unbelievers who say: "God is the Christ the son of Mary",
but the Christ said: "Children of Israel, worship God: my Lord and your Lord;
surely, whoso associates [anything] with God, God has forbidden him Paradise, and his resort is the Fire;
wrong-doers will have no helpers [to save them from the chastisement."] )

I refuted many atheistic ideas, but the atheist disregarded and ignored.

On the other hand, the Quran is full of wisdom, from the All-Wise God, in spite of their assertions.

I always refer to the Quran like this aya 65: 11
The explanation:
([Mohammed is] a messenger [of God] reciting to you the revelations of God [in the Quran], evidently indicating [that their source is from God];

to bring forth those who believe and do righteous [works] from [the depths of] darkness [of ignorance and unbelief] to the light [of knowledge and belief.]

Then whoso believes in God [and abandons the idolatry] and does righteous [work], [God] will admit him into Gardens with rivers flowing underneath it[s trees] to abide therein forever;

God has indeed granted for such [believers] a most excellent provision [in those Gardens.] )

yeah right :lol: - you wish

So far all I've seen is that its full of crap.

So where is his proof? Anyone can say s**t and promise crap after death but where is his here and now proof? Why does your god hide and cower?

Then whoso believes in God [and abandons the idolatry] and does righteous [work], [God] will admit him into Gardens with rivers flowing underneath it[s trees] to abide therein forever;

More BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Empty promises.

God has indeed granted for such [believers] a most excellent provision [in those Gardens.] )

How can a man say that he believes if he is too great a coward to let his belief stand a test? If a man cannot admit there might not be a god then he believes nothing and is a coward.

The wrangling of Abraham with the tyrant

The king disputed with Abraham concerning his Lord Who bestowed on the sovereignty and the kingdom; so in stead of being grateful, he denied God and assigned himself a god on earth to be worshipped apart from God Almighty.

This is in the Quran 2: 258
The explanation:
(Have you considered [Nimrod] who disputed with Abraham about his Lord, that God had given him the kingdom [so he became proud and arrogant to the extent that he claimed himself a god]:

When [he said to Abraham: 'Who is your Lord?'
and] Abraham said: 'My Lord is He Who gives life and causes death.'

[Nimrod] said: 'I give life [by releasing a man who has been sentenced to death] and cause death [by killing any living man.]

Abraham said: 'But God indeed causes the sun to rise in the East, so cause it [yourself] to rise from the West [if you are true in your claim.]'

Thus was [Nimrod] the disbeliever confounded [and did not know how to answer];

God guides not the people of the wrong-doers.)
----------------------------------------------------------

It implies that Nimrod did not believe because he was a wrong-doer, therefore God did not guide him to be a monotheist like Abraham.

To each his own. If God wasn't a spaceman, prove me wrong.

God (Allah or Yahweh) created them all; then how to each is his own?
This is in the Quran 6: 101-102
The explanation:
( [God is] the Originator of the heavens and the earth!
How should there be any child for Him, seeing that He has no wife, and He created all things [so if He had had any child, He would have told people about that], and is All-Aware of every things?

Therefore, that [Originator of the heavens and the earth] is God your Lord;

there is no god but He [alone] the Creator of everything,

so worship Him [but worship not others];

for He keeps guard over all things.)
-------------------------------------------------------

God is the Creator of all the galaxies; how can he be any man?

I was going to say something about the absurdity of posting ancient fables as proof but then I remembered you think the devil lives in your nose. :roll:

I shouldn't interfere in the discussion, but the belief in an afterlife leads to bizarre, counter-instinctive, and criminal acts (such as suicide bombings) and allows governing elites to pacify the oppressed with the promise of a reward in heaven.

I heard on the CBC some months ago that a British general was proposing that atheism was a threat to the army because young men that didn't believe in an afterlife wouldn't be as willing to die in war as those that did believe, therefore soldiers should be given theistic training.

For the soldiers or their families. I often hear these myths repeated here as solace!

No different than the islamic suicide bombers, who believe they have some
life after they die, it's all the same b.s., I'm sure if they, (and those who)
don't believe any of that crap, will think twice before they strap on one
of those murduring belts.

Exactly the same BS! Except we here in the Kingdom of Canada often miss the obvious. Instead we say our soldiers are "volunteers. They know the risks." Then, we spout afterlife nonsense when the risk catches up to them.

"There are none so blind...
