That government was Afghanistan...you know where Osama had his training camps...where he was during 911...the same country the USA aided against Russia's invasion...the invasion lefties don't talk about...

That government; formerly known as the Taliban.

Did you really think the USA was going to not react to this and bash a few enemies heads around? Really the world isn't run by little girls….
The Iraqi People did not ever f**ck with the U.S. You got it wrong on purpose. Your criminal actions have caused the U.S. to have many enemies. I am proud to be counted among them.

Yeah...that was f*cking brilliant...

I wonder if part of their CIA sponsored training was that beheading captives has a demoralizing effect on the enemy... 8O

Public executions and leaving bodies as warnings are both techniques that are said to be taught at the School of the Americas. I'm not sure about videotaped beheadings specifically, but they would seem to fall into the same category.

Bravo!! The testosterone BULLIES who speak in childhood terms of "don''t mess with the US..... Don't look for reason /logic in their analysis of all this. In fact they don't even think it through in a rational way. All they know is REACT.KILL, AVENGE, REVENGE and shoot from both the hip and mouth. What these same bullies don''t realize is the direction this could go , as bully power unleashed on this planet has grave consequences. And they are showing up now. Bullies are NOT civilized. even though on occasion they pretend to be. On a personal level........would not travel to the US ever again.........unless something drastic changes in the entire environment. I feel PITY for them. They have no idea of what they have done......and how this will shape things in the future. It is sad that they now must live in the sphere of the most resented nation on this planet. But they are the author of their own situation. .........even tho they are becoming experts at the blame game and never taking responsibility for their own actions.....and consequences. They collectively have bought into the BIG US LIE. ........smoke and mirrors and lots of muscle. Short on brains and humanitarianism. Financial contributions don't qualify as true humanitarianism.

Canada faces tough choices on a daily basis ........given the proximity of their neighbor. It can say "yes" if it is productive for CANADA.........and NO to the US if if not.

Seems that pity is more appropriate for the US now.....then 'hating " them. There is no percentage in "hate" and it is vile to one's own soul.

this would suggest strongly , that the US has not evolved much since the Roman Empire.

again, with the assumptions about siding with one element or another . For the record.......in this invasion: I am with the Iraqi population. If that makes me against the US .......so be it. I want them to come out of this , a stable , productive nation that retains its own culture and history. (kinda too bad that the US bombs destroyed so many museums and other cultural artifacts. Some things cannot be replaced.)

Now, you want to make something out of that.......go ahead. This is NOT about the US vs the insurgents. That is what makes this invasion so unusual. Iraq was no threat to the US.......and did not ask for the US assistance to get rid of their leader. Regime change in another nation is illegal. It would be just as illegal if a nation with the where with all , decided that the US needed a regime change. ( and they would sure have a justification.......as the USG IS a threat to the world at large. ) "terrorist" groups are minor players in all this.

"death to bush, death to imperialism" is the protestors message in Denmark. (during his brief visit there)

.......the power of hatred takes on a life of its own when the subject /object perpetuates it with actions so dispicable.

did anyone see his "speech" in Denmark??? Sheesh, the guy is not making any sense at all . He was asked an excellent question by a reporter from Denmark......and literally went into some rant /fantasy that did not even address the question. His responses have become "rote"......and repetative. The press in the room.......had that expression of pity.......as they knew any questions would not get an intelligent answer.

Hundreds protest Bush visit to Denmark

About 200 demonstrators, mostly black-clad youth, have marched in downtown Copenhagen to protest a brief visit by US President George W Bush on his way to the G8 summit in Scotland.

The demonstrators, some shouting "Death to Bush, death to imperialism", were surrounded by about an equal number of police officers in riot gear.

Organisers had urged demonstrators to "come angry", but there were no signs of violence as they started marching from a square where they had gathered in pouring rain.

More than 2,000 police have been deployed to block off streets and keep an eye on demonstrators in one of the biggest security operations the Scandinavian country has ever seen.

A 30-year-old Dane was arrested in Copenhagen for allegedly making threats against Bush in an email, criminal police chief Ove Dahl said. He did not provide details on the email or the suspect, who has been ordered held for six days.

Protests started even before the president had arrived, with a few hundred people turning up for a peaceful anti-Bush rally in the northwestern city of Aarhus.

AdvertisementIn Copenhagen, organisers said about 5,000 people came to a downtown park for a rock concert staged to urge Bush to do more to fight poverty and HIV/AIDS.

The US president is set to hold talks with Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen before heading to the three-day G8 summit, which begins on Wednesday.

"I want to use the meeting with Bush to push for more progress regarding Africa ... that more is done to fight AIDS, which is undermining development in Africa," Fogh Rasmussen told the Danish TV network TV2.

He said he also would suggest the US and other G8 countries give more in development aid to the world's poor.

The visit is seen as a nod to the Danish government, which is a staunch US supporter and has about 500 troops in Iraq.

Protesters also have planned a peaceful torch vigil outside the Fredensborg Palace where Bush will stay, organisers said.

"Bush is not welcome here," organiser Arne Lund said before the vigil.

The palace north of Copenhagen is usually open to the public but because of the Bush visit, scores of police have set up concrete road blocks and barbed wire, turning the castle, built in 1722, into a fortress.

Police and bomb experts have briefly examined two suspicious packages at the US Embassy in Copenhagen, but determined they were harmless.

On Wednesday several anti-Bush rallies are expected to converge outside the US Embassy and organisers estimated they would draw about 20,000 people.

Police have sealed manholes and set up barbed wire around Marienborg, the Danish prime minister's official summer residence, located north of Copenhagen, where he will host Bush.

Some main roads in the area will be closed during the visit, forcing commuters to use public transport.

The airspace over Copenhagen as well as the southern part of neighbouring Sweden will be closed off for private flights during Bush's visit. Commercial flights won't be affected.

First, Iraq invaded Kuwait...had they not done that none of this would be happening....so, yes Iraq did F*ck with America...all they had to do was leave Kuwait, but they didn't....Saddam is stupid.

Ocean...there is a time for reason and analysis; there is a time for violence. Right now analysis isn't going to serve to defeat those who hate America and can't be trusted. Sometimes only muscle will serve....Pity should be reserved for those who can't see the world for what it is.

pity is reserved for those that choose violence over other more diplomatic/humane methods for resolving issues. Turn around is fair play.........and it is the US(G) that cannot be trusted and is despised by so many now. Violence begets violence and hatred. fostering hatred is not the civilized methodology. and no one is naive as to the world today. "muscle" is LAST RESORT route ......not the first option.......unless you are a bully or a warmonger. A bit of civility goes a long way and is less destructive. but civility , diplomacy takes much longer , is an evolving process.........and for the impatient bullies........violence is simply expedient.

Think Crusades.
I really don’t believe that any Muslim today can remember the crusades, so that’s hardly a reason for hatred. Besides which, no matter how they were done, the crusades were a counterattack to Muslim invasion. Bin Laden did mention the loss of Andalusia (Spain) as a reason for hatred, so I guess if someone fights back successfully it’s considered a crime against Islam for all time.
As long as one lesson is learned...and that is, don't ever, ever f**ck with the USA again...don't hint at it, don't smile if someone mentions it, or there will be hell to pay...10000 fold what ever the enemy does to them.
Unfortunately, the one lesson that has been learned is that the US can be resisted and removed with enough determination and the sacrifice of their own unwilling citizens. The US will in time lose, and the Jihad will spread. SH was no friend of the US but he kept the radicals suppressed. They have now been loosed upon the world. It’s only a matter of time.

I hope I’m wrong.
