Re: Donald Trump = No Friend Of Veterans

Just think of them as Mr. Ping and Mr. Pong. Trump and Putin could probably clean up the Mid-East in less than 1 year and that would include a head-start for some major reconstruction. A real estate tycoon from when you did more than speculate and you were there till the end, what do you think he will have planned for the US? Everybody bitching about being broke and they want to keep somebody out that would be in the best position to change that. JFK put his sights on the moon, if the radiation belt was a problem then men would have been replaced by robots controlled by men. The moon wasn't the prize, the prize was spending a whole lot of money on something that cost just as much as a war. The going into debt to do it was something that was going to be eliminated so the Banksters shot him but let the spending go through as it made their fat wallets even fatter. As the spending ending and the movie production was the only cost Vietnam provided the next money boom for the rocket industry. (Dow Chemical products) Might as well know who you are cheering for.

If the servicemen come home and are deployed at civilian construction jobs is that doing something 'good' for the 'veterans'? (Maybe straighten out the Mississippi so larger barges can use the route and landscape the fields up to about 50 ft so there is no such thing as a 'flood with property losses'. (by then a natural quake and more rain will raise the river 52 ft so nothing is 'for sure'. People are happiest (with each other) when they have a common goal, building something is better than listening to a story that gives some children nightmares.

I'll bet the salt that precepts out of the sea water that freezes has some pretty decent elements and minerals in it. Rub it in a wound as the guys says thanks even though it hurts like hell.
Jamaican Rum comes up that way so lets not be doing anything hasty, let alone Screech (sp) Dark rum is not my thing anymore.

So is this Sat night for you all?

Clinton making a fool of Trump on foreign policy

Clinton takes on Trump over U.S. foreign policy

U.S. Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton will berate Republican Donald Trump for being too friendly with North Korea and too harsh on European allies in a foreign policy speech on Thursday aimed at portraying the billionaire businessman as unfit for the White House.

The speech in San Diego comes as the former secretary of state seeks to shift her attention to the Nov. 8 presidential
election against likely rival Trump and away from Bernie Sanders, the U.S. senator from Vermont who is continuing his
long-shot bid for the Democratic nomination.

Trump has said he would sit down with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to try to stop Pyongyang's nuclear program and has criticized the decades-old NATO alliance with mainly European nations as obsolete and too costly for the United States.

"It's important that people understand this is not just about Republican versus Democrat, that Trump is unlike any
presidential candidate we have seen and he is fundamentally unfit to be our commander-in-chief," Clinton aide Jake Sullivan said in an interview before the speech.

Trying to slow down NK's nuclear program is bad foreign policy? Must be tough going through life being that blinded by dogma.

Moreover he is right about the US spending way too much money protecting Europe when they are wuite capable financially of looking after their own.

Re: Clinton making a fool of Trump on foreign policy

Hillary Clinton: Donald Trump is 'dangerously incoherent'

In a foreign policy speech, Mrs Clinton said electing Mr Trump would be a "historic mistake" and his temperament made him unfit to be president.

She ran through Mr Trump's foreign policy points and refuted each one, calling him thin-skinned, irrational and unprepared.

Mrs Clinton is still fighting Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination.

The senator from Vermont has vowed to keep fighting for the nomination until the party's convention in July, despite Mrs Clinton's strong delegate lead.

Focusing her attacks on Mr Trump, Mrs Clinton said his vision for the country was all wrong and that he fundamentally did not understand America, which she called a "big-hearted, fair-minded country".

She discussed the importance of supporting allies like Israel and defended the Iran nuclear deal.

Someone like Mr Trump could not be in charge of the country's nuclear codes, she said, and his proposals were vague and often nonsensical.

"This isn't reality television, this is actual reality," she said.

She said his anti-Muslim rhetoric and talk of American isolationism bolstered the so-called Islamic State, and argued against his disdain for Mexico and Mexican immigrants coming into the country.

Questioning his relationship with Russian president Vladmir Putin, she said: "I'll leave it to a psychiatrist to explain his affection for tyrants."

Re: Clinton making a fool of Trump on foreign policy

Hillary Clinton is making a fool of herself with her characteristically bland criticism of Trump. If she loses, this is how she loses. She's confronted with the most dangerous lunatic to ever run for president and she can't get out of robot-politician mode.

"Dangerously incoherent" - what does that mean? How would it connect to voters? It doesn't describe Trump's foreign policy. His policy is ****ing insane. It's monstrous. It calls for the deliberate killing of innocent people.

"historic mistake" - that's putting it mildly. The election of Trump would be a global disaster.

Re: Clinton making a fool of Trump on foreign policy

Obama has actually said some harsh things about Trump. It's because he isn't running again so he can be honest.

That's the Republican and Democratic party's problem. That's why outsiders like Trump and Sanders were so popular this year. People finally caught on to the dull, focus-grouped political speak standard candidates use and think works on people. Hillary Clinton can't bring herself to speak like a human being because she balances her words based on political strategy. She only stands for getting elected. Not some actual policy.

Sanders and Trump say whatever they want and people perceive that as honesty. Despite their policy differences, some people would rather vote either Sanders or Trump than Clinton or some other Republican drop out. Shockingly, not looking like you're lying to everyone's face actually attracts voters. Unfortunately, Donald Trump is a professional con artist and gives off the appearance of honesty.

Trump has a foreign policy ??
Yeah, where have you been. He promotes letting other nations decide their own future in terms of who their leaders are. They will accept Trump because he brings business contracts that are the polar opposite to perpetual war, be it cold or hot.

Talk about the Pot calling the kettle black, Hillary was on the news just in the past minute calling Trump a liar! Surely she at least has enough brains to realize THAT will blow up in her face! :) :)

I think you hit the nail on the head, Corduroy. If she was so confident about her ability and how her credibility is perceived, she wouldn't have to be so concerned about Trump, a Neophyte!

That's not what I said. Hillary Clinton should go after Trump whether she's confident or not. She just doesn't know how to go after Trump. There's little difference between her and the establishment Republicans Trump has already defeated. You can just line them all up: Clinton, Bush, Rubio, Christie, Carson. They're all the same robot and repeat canned focus-grouped lines over and over. Clinton is the worst of them. Her criticisms of Trump are bland, harsh-ish sounding words but too harsh because marketing said that turns people off.
