Trump and Pence at at CIA headquarters right now. Pence is a much better speaker than Donald as I witnessed when the latter came to the podium. The talk was riddled with non sequiturs, pillorying the MSM and stories of everything from when he was kid to how many votes the military gave him. The most coherent part of the talk concerned his mission to 'wipe ISIS off the face of the earth' with the able help of the military and the CIA who will get it done quickly and with the full support of the Presidency. That came across loud and clear.
Pence on the other hand was totally on message, thanking the CIA and the military for their service to the country - much more believable and sincere. Trump needs to stick to twitter. Off the cuff, he does not come over well. Send Mike Pence - he appears more than capable of delivering what needs to be said or addressed in a straight forward and believable manner.

Yep- I don't think he is an orator by any stretch of the imagination (which may give him some excuse for drifting into the vernacular at times) Trump's fortes are two fold..............work ethic and calling things as he sees them. I think you are quite right in that where delicate language is desired, send Pence (to put in his tuppence)

I saw replays of Trump's CIA speech. It seems he can only keep his thoughts on one topic at a time for about 140 characters.

The size of the crowds is irrelevant. Why are they wasting time with it?
The women's protest crowd today was given more credit for size than it deserved. If you took out the ones who were there just because they could be that would cut the size by at least 25%
Then if you sorted out the different issues they were protesting that would cut it again considerably. There were people there about all sorts of issues; some were there protesting about the Flint water problems. Which I thought were already taken care of. ??????
I think the protests will die out after a while when people settle back into the real world.
