Will one of our fine christian specemins please step forward to be slapped on the other cheek again and again.
Perhaps it would be more fun if the Christians and the false Christians just kept quiet until somebody came up and slapped. Vegas might even give odds on this. Slap a true Christian and you might leave with your balls intact, slap a false one and and you could be wearing them as a necklace. That could also happen with a true Christian if the slap is the 491th one (70x7 rule). lol
Last but not least, Christian's aren't the ones the slapper has to worry about, if the slap is to make us fear them then if we don't slap back then the slap must be weaker than how hard the one behind us would slap us should we give a return slap. We then have to do that prayer thing that works in defensive situations but not aggressive ones.

No offense to the abused of the 'church' but there is no verse in the NT that allows a Christian to see an injustice and not say something about it, loudly if need be. That includes handling an internal conflict. First you bring up the issue as privately as possible and when that fails you say the same thing again but this time with a witness and when that fails you have a 'block meeting' and when that fails the person is escorted 'away'. (from the church entirely)

So, for the worst cases parents should have taken their rights to the courts as soon as they had knowledge rather than becoming part of the cover-up themselves. Their own book tells them not to put men above the word of God. If a complaint was made it was solved by making only the complaining family safe.
The RCC probably has some medieval crap still in their basement. or a week in general population would have them singing like a bird and the names coming out would not just be for the RCC, anybody they knew that was involved in 'shenanigans' against the people.

The Pope should bite the bullet on this one and turn all the allegations over to the UN for prosecution to the fullest extent. That should restore some confidence and the missing stations could be filled my nuns and if sex is going to take place it does so after a marriage. There should be more than one Pope and think how much more passive the world world might become if large organizations were held to the same standards they require in their citizens

Christians and faux christians, we shall know them by their works eh? At that point it is in many cases too late and we have already purchased a dispensation from an unauthorized agent.

Wonder why it is that as soon as some 'worthwhile' instruction is found in the NT somebody is looking for a loophole? lol Really how many times do you hear Church leaders repeat some of the 'busybody' verses to the congregation let alone start a sermon with one. lol

2Th:3:11:
For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly,
working not at all, but are busybodies.
1Tm:5:13:
And withal they learn to be idle,
wandering about from house to house;
and not only idle,
but tattlers also and busybodies,
speaking things which they ought not.
1Pe:4:15:
But let none of you suffer as a murderer,
or as a thief,
or as an evildoer,
or as a busybody in other men's matters.

Can you think of anybody that would even come close to being a busybody, it can be individual person or an entire Nation? Pick from both if you like, my choice for biggest liars is the bank and then politics as defined by politics as it is handled today. We will chip our dogs and cats but not our possessions (taxpayer funded positions of authority), lol. Would they cry invasion of privacy?
I still think a video/audio link to the World Court website would be worth a few bucks a month and it would be the attention getter like the Simpson trial was for the yanks.
As it is the current lineup is not getting the attention it deserves just because they are not big name players. Nor would the big name players let the smaller ones get much attention as it would shine a glaring light on what they commit behind closed doors.

So? There are lots of people wandering around wearing their religion on their sleeve, too.

It's part of some people's human nature in general, you mean.

Watch it troglodyte, the atheists will come out from under the bed at night and gitcha. roflmao Like the one you just pegged all atheists and secularists as? Yeah, Christians are all righteous and anyone else is puritanical, misanthropic, and narrow-minded. rofflmfao "Whatta maroon" - B Bunny

And you go right ahead and nurture your delusions.

You gotta admit though, compared to philosophers like Augustine, Aquinas, the Doctors of the Church (there are 33 of them).. , the list of philosophical thinkers of atheism is pretty impoverished.. and they seem without exception to be misanthropes.. with an axe to grind for some perceived slight in their upbringing. I see them around Canadian Content as well.

Atheistic thought has always been grounded in a narrow minded, materialistic empiricism and reductive logic.. but at least in thinkers like Hume, Kant in the origins of Enlightenment there seemed to be some intellectual rigour. With the the latest band of atheists, like Christopher Hitchens.. it all come down to venomous, hysterical and bigoted attacks on the Church and all its symbols. They seem to be a pretty frustrated and unhappy lot.

But as i said it washes off like water. Let them have their delusions that anyone on this side is listening.

You must be listening or you wouldn't know what they are saying.

Is that a big surprise considering that religious people outnumber atheists by a factor of hundreds? If you wanted to say something of significance about the difference in numbers of philosophers between the groups, say it on a per capita basis. I'd bet that the per capita amount of philosophers is about even.

*shrugs* That's an opinion. There are lots of opinions.

Atheistic thought has always been grounded in a narrow minded,
Opinion, again. Most atheists I've ever read or known have been more open to possibilities than religious people simply because of the fact that they don't base everything on the assumption of gods like the religious do.
materialistic empiricism and reductive logic..
Yup.

Like I said, there are lots of opinions and some would agree with yours and some would disagree.

But as i said it washes off like water. Let them have their delusions that anyone on this side is listening.
Nah, you said "illusions", I said "delusions". I am accurate. You aren't. :D
