Don't hurt yourself thinking about that too hard.

You have to provide me with a little more substance to get me agreeing with you. I have a hard time with "Kevin O'Leary knows **** all about economics". He knows a hell of a lot more than I do.

... which is a damned shame (I think).

I've always agree with the importance of getting the best person possible to do the job. I'm not so sure Rona isn't it. (Harper is probably a little better BUT too many people don't like him plus he's already had quite enough)

He knows less than Harper who did absolutely nothing to grow the economy.

I agree to disagree, in fact I'd go as far as to say it's bull sh*t!

My cat also knows more about economics then you do but I don't think she'd be a good PM

Why can't adults engage in a sensible conversation with out some F**KING A$$HOLE like yourself derailing it. Pull that sh*t one more time and I'm reporting YOU.

I don't know. Sometimes benign neglect and non-intervention is a very positive thing. You break it by trying to fix it (I do that fairly often,).

I'd love to have a bunch of beers with O'Leary. It would probably be a real hoot. Canadians are not likely to vote for him in any numbers, though so "no" to Conservative Party leadership.

The last thing many voters want is someone who knows about economics. Can you picture Kevin helping the indigent or the homeless?

Apply that everything you believe and we will never have a problem again.

I can't be impressed by anyone that knows more about a subject than you do.

I'm a blue collar laborer. I'm no Economist, but I'll share a conversation I had with one of my lefty buddies...

Bud: "NAFTA is great!"

Me: "Why?"

Bud: "Because, it just is."

Me: "Why?"

Bud: " Do you realize what you'd have to pay for a TV or IPhone without NAFTA?"

Me: "But if I was making 70k a year at a car plant, why would I care if I had to pay an extra couple hundred bucks for these products?"

Bud: dead silence

That was my common sense Economics 101 discussion with my friend. I was raised street smart, not book dumb. :)

Quite possibly, Ger, we old fellas forget sh*t.
Maybe you should write this down and stick it on your monitor.......

because as interm leader of the conservative Party, she is not allowed to run under their present constitution. You have been told this already.

I knew she wasn't, just didn't know Why! :)

Most definitely, CC. Jim's death was a big blow to the hopes of many conservatives. A good man taken far too soon.

I don't recall hearing anyone say a bad word about Jim. "Straight as an arrow" is my guess.

None of the candidates inspire my support - none of them has any presence. Kevin has a presence. Rona has too and if anyone in party decided to start a draft Rona campaign I'd immediately switch my support to Rona.

I think Kevin would be a mistake, Mowich, not the right background & I see him as being mainly for Kevin................Politics for him would just be a stepping stone to more personal wealth.................in my estimation, but I could be wrong of course. Politicians are elected to spend money, not save it! :)
