He served 9 years of a 33 year sentence. Now 33 years for your first ever conviction of robbery with no prior record is a little above the norm. His sentence was totally based upon the aquittal for murder....no doubt in my mind. Someone if his position without the murder trial in his past would most likely got probation or less than 1 year in jail for what he was convicted of.
Absolutely correct, Nick. What's happened is the State was trying compensate for what they saw as being a mistake in the murder trial. You can't do that sh*t.............I don't think there's any doubt about his involvement in the murders BUT law also says you can't be penalized for double jeopardy. He got away with one but that wasn't his screw up. I wonder if he's going to sue now.

Yeah she was ever soooooo innocent that she tried to frame an innocent black man for that crime. He spent three weeks in prison and his life was repeatedly threatened by gangsters in a land known for having murderous gangsters. His life was ruined so badly that his business fell apart and he had to leave the country thereafter.
Today "Foxy Knoxy" is profiting quite well from her crime. Funny how so many people object to OJ profiting but have no similar objection to her enjoying all that wealth.

Newly sprung disgraced grid great O.J. Simpson is reportedly in the market for some carnal capers following nearly a decade in prison.
The 70-year-old former Buffalo Bills star is eyeing a tryst with a hooker who bears a chilling resemblance to his murdered ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, Radar Online is reporting.
According to the owner of Nevada’s notorious Bunny Ranch, Dennis Hof, longtime Simpson pal Tom Scotto reached out to him days before the one-time Heisman Trophy winner was released on parole.
Scotto had a super sexy celebration in mind for Simpson — who was acquitted in 1995 of butchering his wife and her friend Ronald Goldman.
“Scotto is going to come up here next week and check it out, then go back down to Vegas,” Hof told Radar. “Then we’re all going to get together and hang out and party a little bit and have some fun with some gorgeous company.”
He added: “It all depends on O.J.’s schedules and meeting with the parole officers. The Bunny Ranch and the Bunny Ranch girls are anxious for O.J.’s visit.”
And the cathouse kingpin said Scotto already has a playmate picked out for his pal — a Nicole Brown Simpson lookalike named Tiara Kae.
“That’s the girl that Scotto has interest in, and he of course thinks O.J. will like her too,” Hof said. “She is a stunner.”

O.J. Simpson is out of jail, but isn’t staying out of trouble. The star was reportedly booted from his Las Vegas hotel on Wednesday after allegedly causing a drunken disturbance.
According to TMZ, the 70-year-old reportedly got drunk and hotel staff claim he was being disruptive to other customers at the Clique bar located inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas.
Eventually, glasses at the bar reportedly broke because of the former NFL star’s behavior, prompting a call to hotel security. When they arrived, O.J. was reportedly cooperative as they removed him from the premises. The gossip site reported he’s been permanently banned from the Cosmopolitan.
Representatives for the hotel did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
As previously reported, Simpson was released from jail last month after serving nine years for a botched hotel robbery in 2007.
Simpson became an infamous household name in 1995 after he went on trial for the murder of his estranged wife and a waiter. He was later found not guilty of the charges in one of the most controversial rulings in American history.
Since he’s been out, O.J. has reportedly been frequenting bars and other social gatherings in Las Vegas. He was granted parole upon his release and it’s unclear at this time if the incident in the hotel will affect his parole standing in any way.
