I was watching CBS News the other day, when the top story was the historic cold weather covering almost all of the eastern half of the country.
The news anchor, Scott Pelley, felt compelled to end the newscast by telling us all this frigid weather had NOTHING to do with debunking the AGW myth. That it had to do with polar vortexes and the 'Siberian Express' and a persistent high pressure region in the West.. all independent of Global Warming and that globe was the hottest it had been in measured times in February.
I was left wondering does he really think we are as stupid as all that or if he was that stupid. Or the most likely explanation is that he's a liar, like Brian Williams, only he's representing the interests of the business and academic establishment who are completely invested in the AGW Fraud.
Either way he is destroying the reputation of CBS News as a reputable investigative news source. It is just a shill for the AGW establishment who control the mainstream news and academic organizations now.
You wonder what they are going to do now, since it seems the Northern Hemisphere is in for a prolonged cold period, that could last a century or two, in a 400 year cycle. I'm sure they'll come up with something but it'll be hardly worth listening to, like Scott and Brian.. who have lost all semblance of integrity, independence and reliability as news sources.

uhhh... is the Arctic in the Northern Hemisphere? You know, that area of the globe that has the greatest warming... that area that has lost all that sea-ice... is that in the Northern Hemisphere? In any case, have a dose of reality:
I would almost swear the crack under the ice that at the poles would be the biggest influence on the size of the floating sea ice. If the ice is shrinking the rift is expanding faster, if it is growing the spreading is slowing down.
