Now you're just being an arsehole, Rev.
I thought trolling was frowned upon here.

You know, corner stores and Subway sandwich shops get robbed by armed guys regularly around here. This is one of the most violent cities in Canada. Usually they get $100 or so.
Funny thing. I can walk down the street with several hundred thousand bucks in my bag, and nobody tries to rob me.
I wonder why?
Must be my charm and good looks, seeing as any crook worth the name could get a "bigger and better" gun than the S&W revolvers we carry (patented 1899, believe it or not).
Don't tell me possession of arms doesn't prevent crime. I know better.

So why don't we just all get guns. It can be another milestone like turning 16 and being about to drive or turning 18/19 and being able to drink.
Let's all carry weapons. Is that the answer? When can I use my weapon? In self defense? Define that. I mean if I'm driving down the highway and I see that a car is changing lanes right into me and doesn't respond to my horn, can I shoot him? I mean, at the moment I could say that I felt my life was being endangered could I not?
It is far easier not to have guns then to have them.
Like I said before, if we all have guns, then we all have the ability to shoot someone else. If nobody has guns, then we nobody can shoot anybody else.

If we averaged-out the crime statistics of our political parties, and given their small numbers as opposed to 2 million in Toronto .... it's our political parties which are the larger "plague".
