I think he has given up smoking, kakato. YJ is sore just because I refer to his hero as Rush ‘drug addict’ Limbaugh. While that nickname is well deserved (I think he is still addicted to pain killers), I don’t’ think it is correct to say that Obama still smokes, I remember hearing somewhere that he has given up smoking.

Really, every admin has its list--selection is a complex process of weighing many different interests. Most of those positions listed don't carry much weight anyway (i.e. selection is mostly with PR in mind).
Obama's admin is very corporate and they are playing the game pretty much by the book (minor deviations like the organic thing are mainly publicity stunts--albeit a positive one for once).
If you're looking for verifiable and very real threats to America, you need to look at things like deregulation to dangerous levels and an awesomely powerful defence lobby that is totally out of control.

Barney, Obama’s detractors have called him every name under the sun, so why not a ‘Czarist’? I remember one far right columnist claimed that Obama is a spy of USSR (not a spy of Russia, but a spy of the former USSR).
If one right winger called him a USSR spy, doesn’t it stand to reason, to logic that another should call him a Czarist?
Who called he who shall remain nameless a Czar? He is a god (maybe capitol G) to you liberals. He created all those useless positions, those people have a direct line to him. As if we elected them also.

Instead of focusing on the 'Czarist' part :roll: , it's the last part that is important: Obama has done nothing and like his predecessors, will never do anything to ameliorate that situation (i.e. deregulation of sectors that are already quite hostile to big government as well as to the lower income population--that would be the majority of Americans btw--and a defence industry so omnipresent that it literally has ties to almost every major company in the United States).
He may be more progressive as an individual and that may reflect in some politically neutral Bill (i.e. in Congress) or support for a "liberal" cause here and there, but generally Obama is very much a part of that system and he got the job because he's a team player. Don't expect this "messiah" to rock the boat.
Yeah it's a similar strain of irrationality.
That said, there are rational and very serious criticisms of Obama's administration (just like there are serious and rational criticisms of the previous administration's handling of 9/11 btw), but they tend to apply to virtually every administration, not to him personally. Personal criticism of Obama (as in, of the man himself) is laughable--bloody hilarious actually--considering the last guy with his job.
Sure he might not deserve all the "liberal" hype he got and he's no Lincoln (no matter how much his speech writer may want us to think so :lol: ) but please people, get real.
